First off, yay for your I-130 approval! That’s awesome, and from what I have seen, everybody in here is happy for you. 

Then, there is a clear distinction between a USCIS petition and a U.S. visa. Approval of the former means you’re eligible to apply for the latter. They’re also handled by two different departments (DHS vs. DOS). Worst case scenario for using wrong terminology in immigration means you make yourself ineligible for a visa. Nobody here wants that to happen to you, but we have seen our fair share of people who confused petition and visa and ran into trouble because they didn’t factor in the DOS side of things (NVC, consular, and all that). We’re trying to mitigate that and at the same time provide accurate info for everybody else who reads your thread. 

Finally, and somewhat off topic (mods, please edit if not allowed), I personally find it quite rude to make snarky comments toward long-term members in excellent standing such as @Crazy Cat or @SteveInBostonI130 while knowing full well that they took years (if not decades in some cases) to learn everything there is to know about immigration law, process, and timelines, and are willing to share their knowledge in a DIY forum for free.

Everyone is happy for you and trying to be accurate for you and other members here. Knowledge is power and we need all of that to deal with  the USCIS. The correction and other timeframe info was also for other members here like me that are on the edge of our seats trying to get our loved ones to the US. Thanks again for your post. It gives us all hope.

Just FYI, and not to get carried away:

Our I-130 was approved in 70 days (back in November 2021), fast forward to today 14-June-2023, we are still under AP at the Casablanca consulate. Interview was 17-May-2022.

 

Processing time of I-130 has no correlation with NVC processing and visa approval.

 

All cases are different, but again, just not get carried away

Even with a "clean " case, no two cases are the same. just like a finger print.

He is from a MENA country, so expect AP on him, most MENA men and now women undergo Additional Processing

Keep in mind, it's all about him, and not of you when it comes to the processing .

Everyone is trying to guide you, & being flip to them is not appreciated.

Some have been here a very long time and are very knowledgeable with the immigration process.

I really don't care and didn't ask for help or guidance. I was simply sharing MY timeline. Ya'll really need to stay in your lane. If I asked for help, that would be different. The fact that you're here trying to 'educate' me is super infuriating. And assuming I don't understand WHERE my husband is from or that I don't understand the immigration process is you a problem.

You must be new to the world of online forums, so I will provide some help and guidance. There are no lanes in a public forum. Everyone and anyone can comment on any post they have something to say about. We do not need an invitation to provide our thoughts. And if you provide incorrect information, other users will be quick to correct your mistakes.

 

Congratulations on the approval of your petition. This is an important first step in the long immigration process. Even with a "clean" case, you will still have a long road ahead of you, but these little milestones are worth celebrating.

Reddit is where people usually post their approvals/timelines etc. so that would be the best place to post.

Wow. I hope you keep this “chill” attitude if in any moment you get interviewed. 
If you post here people will try to help you, even if you don’t ask, like others pointed that the forms that you sent are weird. I-130 and I-129f doesn’t go together.

 

I-130 means that they approved you to apply for CR1.
