I think that's the typical interview method. I learned from different posts that the IO will repeat the question to testify the answer is real or not.
I thin OP is fine. Don't worry too much. Your green card is on the way. Hope you can get it before your trip.

She can try but it is almost certain she will be denied entry when they see she stayed for 6 months, has left for a short while and is returning to “visit” a newly or about to be naturalized son (they’re not stupid). She can go home when her authorized stay expires in February, and you can petition her in the meanwhile.

And I was serious when I said not even close. You know who else also married three times and two of them were with foreigners? And they haven’t done anything to him yet.😉😉😂😂😀

Cr1 interview went really well today.

I got there as early as possible bcos my appointment was 7:30,but I was almost two hours early . At 6:35,we were asked to join the que and went through the security checkups.

I did my fingerprints and gave my documents to the Ghanaian lady who was very rude to me,but I didn't allow her mood to affect me anyways. I was called to window 12,and the following questions came up from the consulate:

    How re you doing:
    Who filed for you?
How did you meet your wife?
What do you want to be doing in the USA?
    Congratulations, welcome to AMERICA'.

She didn't look at my documents and even proofs the Ghanaian lady refused to take.not even the W-2 and tax transcripts.she was so calm.

Just be confident and speak the truth.u will surely be approved in Jesus name

    Hi,

Everything looks good. You have more than proof from my point of view. I submited way less than you - pretty much just pictures and flight print screens and we were just fine!
No I-94 needed at this point for you.

    Good luck!

Do go to the interview, so don't cancel it. You will be able to provide the documents later, it will mean that you will not be approved during the interview but it will not mean a deal breaker so no worries just yet.
Good luck on your interview 🤞🏻

My wife entered in Las Vegas as POE,  she and other K1's were rounded up in a special room,  there carry-on's were inspected, and a short couple of standard questions,  and reminded that they need to be married within 90 days or they have to depart.  It did take a half hour or so before she came out.

How well I recall how we felt after being pulled through the knot hole at the Seattle Field Office. We didn't get an RFE, we got a "wait and see," even worse in my thinking. At least with an RFE, you have a definite check list to rectify.  We had our AOS interview the Monday before Thanksgiving (another US holiday you may or may not celebrate  ). The IO indicated that he would contact me within 10-14 days....what a downer !!! You can read the review in our timeline.

You will be OK, get a good night's sleep. Dust yourself off, and fight for your new family.

No you do not have to marry before that expires .. if you don’t apply for AOS within 1 year if the k1 medical date  ( ??? this is the correct time frame I think ) , then you have to do another medical. So timely filing is good for all sorts of reasons.
But make sure you apply fir your SSN .. in person at the SSA office ... before you marry otherwise you will have to wait until you get the EAD in hand. Print off your I 94 from the CBP page and take that plus your passport to the SSA office

My wife and I traveled at least three times while she was in the ROC stage with me coming back on separate days due to work obligations.  It was never an issue.  I agree with @missileman, I would be checking your attorney and find out what they truly submitted.

    Good Luck!

Hi Everyone! I have not been on Visa journey in a LONG time! But, I wanted to share some positive news and spread a little hope!
My husband & I received an email Monday that he can now come to Ankara to get his Visa!!!!! This is 6 months after his interview. We had previously applied for the Fiance Visa but were denied so we have been waiting almost 5 years to be together! The happiness is mind numbing and we both have cried from joy.
There is hope....try to stay positive!!!!

No offence taken, but I think there will always be immigrants who won't learn the language and will remain in their own social circles, but I believe there are also many who try very hard to adapt.

Because when we began dating language wasn't a barrier. It was much easier for us to conduct our life in Chinese. We initially didn't have plans to have our life in the US but things change. She can't speak English yeah it's a minor inconvenience, but in the same way I learned Chinese while being in China, she will learn English while being in the US.

I would appreciate everyone who would read this long post but I want to be extra sure before sending my file. I have a checklist of the evidences I am going to enclose with my ROC, can you please tell me if I'm good to go or still need some things to add or remove? Here's the list:

    1. Benefits Statements from me and my husband's employer showing each other as beneficiaries (Life Insurance, Vision, Dental, Basic AD&D and Critical Illness)- no joint Health Insurance since it's cheaper if we're paying separately which makes no sense but ok

    2. Joint Phone Service account
    3. Joint internet bills
    4. Joint tax transcripts(W2 included)
    4. Joint lease agreement
    6. Travel and Vacation Itineraries
    7. Joint checking account
    8. Joint credit card summary
    9. Pay stubs showing the same address
    10. Photos w/ friends and family & Wedding Pics
    11. Sworn affidavit from friends & family (not notarized but I included copies of their driver's license)
    12. Cards from friends/family ( we only have 2 cards since most greetings are through facebook/messenger/email)-is this ok?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and thank you in advance for your answers!

There is no text book meaning that the “only” or “correct” way of getting married is to have a traditional ceremony with guests. That’s silly. A courthouse wedding within the 90 days upon arrival into America is good enough.

Will be tough to find what you are looking for here. VisaJourney is a do-it-yourself forum. Majority of the people here did things themselves instead of a lawyer or service. If you have a straight forward case a lawyer or visa service is not needed at all. It will save you tons of money. Everything you need to file can be found here or on the US immigration sites. If you have any questions then you are free to ask.

    Good luck.

Meet first in person in November and see how it goes.  Spend as much time together as you can.  Do more research on the US immigration process and the requirements, time, and money required.  Have some deep discussions about your future, then both of you go home and think clearly, rationally, away from each other and talk some more.  Marriage is a big commitment and the US immigration process is long and complicated and expensive, it requires both the petitioner and beneficiary to be totally on board and involved, so take your time and see how the relationship develops after you meet in person.  Make a decision with your head, not just your heart.  Good luck!

Somebody with a solid situation can get a Tourist Visa, we tend to see those with few ties who are more likely to forget to go home.
