If he suspends all immigration, how would USCIS sustain itself since all of it’s revenue is from the application fees?

Excellent.  You're in legal status now as you wait for your AOS interview.  Some folks are actually having the interview requirement waived apparently.

In the same boat, as my wife and I got married in February and applied for AOS soon after. Got our NOA about a month ago but it's been silence since then. I feel awful for everyone who's earlier in the process. Really hoping this is nothing.

Apparently new york is allowing zoom weddings. Not sure if it applies to out of state residents

There would be a RIF/furloughs.  Btw, there is nothing regarding any new immigration executive order on either USCIS or DOS sites yet.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be that lucky because I haven’t got my biometrics done! But I really don’t mind once I’m not put on a flight back home 😂

My conditional green card expires June 2021. Hopefully it doesn't effect my case in anyway. Good luck and the best to those who are going to be affected by this.

We’re so lucky we were able to get over here and get married in time. My heart goes out to anyone who isn’t able to get married or get over here. It must be so frustrating

Not what I wanted to see... my K1 case is in transit to the consulate as we speak and I was holding out for when Montreal would reopen.. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Guess we’ll see what the specifics are... 😞

By doing that wouldn’t he be cutting more jobs for Americans (the immigration officers)? How ironic!

Yes.  In-person services and interviews are suspended.

No -- I already checked this. You have to be a NY resident and there is no way I am moving there at the moment!

They are. Anything that doesn't require in-person appointments. So background checks, approvals and other processes are still running in the background.
