Did anyone send out their I-129F around 7/26 or am I a loner for that date?  So happy I belong to this group.  I am learning more here than if I had paid a lawyer to help.  Thanks everyone.  Have a great weekend.

Hi July Filers.  I am a newbie who just sent my package in on 7/26.  USPS delivered it on 7/30.  I haven't heard anything; no text or email.  I would love to get past the first step😓.

I'd wait another week before getting too worried. Also pay attention to your print mail; it's not at all unheard of for people to get the hard copy NOA1 or NOA2 or both without getting a text or email even though they singed up for it. Still, if my case was normal +/- a day or two, it's likely you'll hear something today or Monday.

And then you get to wait a much longer amount of time before anything else happens (probably) ...

Thank you DaveAndAnastasia.  You are absolutely right.  I just got an email & text this evening.  I was very surprised.  Now, the fun of waiting part starts.  I am going to plan some activities that will help me for the upcoming months.  Hopefully it will keep me from going completely insane.  Have a blessed weekend.

I got a I-797C in the mail (receipt), is this classed as NOA1, or should I be waiting for a I-797 too?

You should have got I-797 before I-797C (?)

I sent the package, and it was delivered on August 1. Then I got I-797 just yesterday (August 6) via phone sms (paper notice mail is on the way).

So strange! We got the text message/email and then followed up by the I-797C (receipt) in the mail but no I-797. Hopefully this won't be an issue D:.

I sent my package on Jul 24th and haven't received anything yet. No text/email or mailed NOA1! so that's almost 2 weeks now since I sent my stuff. Should I call and ask or not yet? Looking at everyone looks like they got theirs after 1 week.

So very sorry Manny16.  I hope you will be getting a text message & email sometime this week.  I got both the same week they received our packet.  Hang in there.  Let me know when you get it.

Edit: my USPS tracking number says that my item was delivered to USCIS 6600151 and signed by someone. Look closely to that number I put in bold. The address on USCIS website is 660151 not 6600151 !! maybe the USPS clerk added an extra zero??

Hey guys, we sent ours in on July 16...haven't heard anything back yet but the USPS tracking said someone signed for it on the 30th so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll hear something soon. We originally sent a petition out in early October 2017 but it disappeared into the abyss (fiance was a bit too excited and didn't use registered mail or a tracking number like I told him to) so I'm trying not to worry that it's happening again
