Hey guys,

I know lately social media of applicants are heavily monitored. Does anyone know if USICS can see private posts on facebook? Has anyone experienced something like this firsthand where they were surprised to find that USCIS had seen pictures posted privately or even deleted?

Nobody knows for certain what they do or don't have access to. The security checks are not conducted by USCIS directly - they are tasked out to various automated systems and agencies, as needed.

Assume they can see everything.

they just ask for ID"S of social media

and if there is any reason to be concerned,  DHS will investigate

and yes,  my late husband was a Senior programer/  electrical engineer and could access anything

a good hacker could and DHS has the best

BTW any email or photo you send per computer or cell phone is kept in a facility called the Iron Mt

and in 2009 and 2010 if you used yahoo an English firm was taking snap shots of everyone using a cam

a while back a VJ member posted that her bf had been denied (can not remember what embassy) and she was told the beneficary was talking on social media to several women about love and marriage

and this was before the ds 5535 or the new questions on ds 160/ds260
