Well, I had seen some RFEs due to the question 55, so I decided to check mine. Turns out there's not only a chance that I didn't check that box (still a chance I may have did that by hand as well as all the "n/a" sections) , but I definitely forgot to fill out the section 54, "circumstances of our in person meeting". I checked the box yes for question 53, but then didn't provide the details. Now I'm terrified 😭😭😭  We wrote a letter outlining our meeting and relationship in detail and both wet signed it, so I'm really hoping that helps get it through. I can't believe I forgot to write something in that box 😭😭😭😭😭

I think as long as you wrote a letter outlining how you met you should be fine.  I put "please see attached declaration of how we met".  I had to attach several pages for certain questions because I did not have enough room.

no, that's what I'm scared of. I completely forgot to write "proof attached" or something like that. I included a declaration of how we met, plane tickets, my visa photos, and photos of us. there is no way they could go through the packet and have a shadow of a doubt that we have been together within the last 2 years (I worked at the Embassy there). I just have a feeling the adjudicator will still feel it necessary for me to have written "see attached" and issue me an RFE because that's their style there at USCIS....

I'm betting that you are not the first to forget something on your application. There are three ways this can go. One, they miss it completely and the approve your application. Two, they see it, and issue a RFE. Or, three they see it not checked and they find your attachment and your in the clear. I do believe it's the latter. Your not going to get denied over this so take a deep breath and continue the wait.

hi me too

Can you please complete your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Thanks for the constant reminders to folks. Perhaps folks at VJ should cause a really annoying popup to appear every time someone tries to post something without first filling in their timeline. LOL

Funny thing is that it helps us to help them. Without the information, and with most answers embassy dependent how do we answer factually.

Guess I'll find out what for. The only thing I can think I didn't include was the policy act for tinder to make sure it isn't a marriage broker. Just thought that was common sense in 2019. Also for us consulate I'll be attending for interview I put Toronto thinking of physical exam instead of Montreal. Which is an easy fix.
