I have decided to go see Rose and the kids in April no matter if USCIS responds or not. I can’t let this wait hurt my chances to be with my family. It will mean less money and less vacation time when they get to the states but it means I get to be with them sooner. 

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

 

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

 

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Oh Man, I wish I would have known, then I would have scheduled my trip for later and we could have went over together. Would help make that long flight easier. :D

Nice and Wow, what a small world! My moms birthday is on the 15th. That's why I'm going when I am because Gina's is the 27th and I need to be there for that and then back in the states by the 15th for my mom's birthday.

Do it! Who knows..you may end up with a journey like mine. Book a trip and then bring your loved one(s) back with you ;).

I have my Interview in 2.5 hours! It’s currently 5am. Wish me luck and send some prayers my way!! ♥️

Depends on country.

 

For Cambodia, we could not do it until we had an interview date.

Question for anyone that has had medical. My fiances daughter has a cavities in a couple teeth that need taken care of. Will this be s problem in the medical exams? (St. Lukes)

my fiance is kinda worried about it.

I can’t believe I’m typing this but my case has been approved!!! I got a text and an email and the app was updated!! @Kari & Atti @John & Rose I’m thinking of you guys and all the June filers that are still waiting!!!

My fiancé just finished her embassy interview and she’s APPROVED! Wooo so happy! She said the interview was quite short. They asked for her affidavit of support, intent to marry, DS160 form and receipt of payment for the visa. They only asked her a few questions. When did we meet, how did we meet, when we saw each other last, what state is she going to move to, we’re either of us married before and that’s it. They told her she will have her visa within a week. We prepared a huge binder of forms and proof and information. They didn’t ask for much of it but better to be over prepared. 

 

@Hoosier81 tell your fiancé not to be nervous. It’s not a bad process. Good luck Tuesday!
