The original cost I was looking at was $730 but it was an ADDITIONAL $976 if I wanted to avoid the 14 hours in Incheon!

Oh Geez, that's crazy! However, Incheon is a super nice airport, but not sure I would want to hang there for 14 hours.

There are lots of NOA2s coming in mail without an update on case tracker.

I love the airport but sitting for 14 hours to wait for a 13 hour flight doesn't sound fun.

I book Cathay Pacific for $691.97.  There is a 55 minute stopover in Hong Kong on the way and a 1 hour 15 minute stopover on the way home.  Now I'm worried about the 55 minutes and if I wall have enough time to get to the second flight!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Shoot, that doesn't sound bad at all. I thought about going with Cathay, but I wanted wifi on the plane and wanted to try EVA out, but when I booked there wasn't much of a price difference between Cathay and EVA.

I read a study on ticket prices somewhere, can't remember where at though, that to get the best price for a airline ticket you need to buy it exactly 54 days out.

I flew Cathay in February and had a great experience. My flight from ORD to HKG was delayed by three hours because a crew member was sick. Because of the delay me (and 80 other people who were on a connecting flight to MNL) were given a hotel and meal voucher in HKG and were rebooked for the next flight out. The hotel was connected to the airport, so I didn't have to leave! They were very accommodating and apologetic. My rountrip was $623 (booked in Dec) and to get my fiance' on my return flight was $1015. I wouldn't have paid that if it were just him flying alone, but given our timeline and the way it all panned out, I paid the money and we flew together : ).

I LOVED EVA!!! Probably my best flight experience yet to MNL! Wifi on the plane and pretty good food. I flew with them in Dec 2016 and paid $497 rt. Highly recommend them.

WOW, only $497... How was the wifi? I leave the 22nd so It's good to hear positive feedback about EVA.

Works for me and that's basically all I wanted to do was message and maybe a little surfing here or there. I figure I wont have to hear "bilisan mo, bilisan mo" so much from mahal ko if I can keep her informed of where I'm at. :jest: he he

I'm concerned about the 55 minutes between Cathay flights.  I suppose it is doable but I hope the first flight is a little early.  I booked it together so the luggage should be transferred but going from one end of the airport to the other may be tough in time to make the Manila flight.  Both flights are Cathay Pacific so I hope they realize the timeline and have an escort for any of us who have the short layover.

Getting to the gates is a hassle! There isn't a train at the HKG airport like ORD. It took me a good 20-30 minutes to walk from gate 2 to gate 60 .

That is what concerns me.  At least I don't need to get bags.  It will be a rushed layover so I hope they have a cart or shortcut through security available for me.

I decided to call USCIS today to get an update since I can’t submit another inquiry at this point online. They said they don’t have any further information and recommend I scheduled an appointment at the local office. Ugh, more BS. Will have to wait until I have time off during the week to schedule that. Decided to go ahead and email my congresswoman too 😐

Did anyone else get the error message on the embassy interview booking site (for London) saying your LDN number isn't ready, but you have a screenshot saying it is? The website is returning no data again...

😭 I'm going crazy now. I'm so sick of all the trouble I have had with this stupid process. 😞
