I decided to call USCIS today to get an update since I can’t submit another inquiry at this point online. They said they don’t have any further information and recommend I scheduled an appointment at the local office. Ugh, more BS. Will have to wait until I have time off during the week to schedule that. Decided to go ahead and email my congresswoman too 😐

Found out in the meantime that yes my congresswoman submitted an inquiry and got the same response as me about the security checks! They will follow up if things continue to drag on...so at least that avenue has been explored

Did anyone else get the error message on the embassy interview booking site (for London) saying your LDN number isn't ready, but you have a screenshot saying it is? The website is returning no data again...

😭 I'm going crazy now. I'm so sick of all the trouble I have had with this stupid process. 😞

Sorry for all of this, but to reassure you It did happened to me, even if it was for the embassy in France, I waited few more days and I was finally able to get to the next page (booking the interview and paying the visa fees) I read online that If you try to schedule your interview online too soon, you will receive the error message “Case Number is not ready for an appointment” .. A little bit more patience and you will be good !

The original cost I was looking at was $730 but it was an ADDITIONAL $976 if I wanted to avoid the 14 hours in Incheon!

I did find an April 12 to April 20 for $692.  It is a shorter visit than I hoped for but the price is decent.

I specifically arranged to have the lengthy layover in Incheon even though it was the same price to have a short layover. I prefer staying in the hotel that is inside the terminal, and when not sleeping it’s a huge terminal with many restaurants and activities. $125 for 12 hours room. If you take a shuttle you can stay outside the airport at nearby hotels for cheaper.

If I’m going through Incheon or Japan I do my best to have a long layover!

There is a really nice hotel in the airport in Hong Kong.  I've been in Incheon a couple times but usually only for a couple hours.  I will definitely try that out.  It beats those 33 hour days!

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Still waiting for our RFE in the mail. Informed delivery says it's not today (it was mailed on the 5th). I'm betting it's that they need the Terms of Service from EQ2 since that's where we met online.

VISA APPROVED  ♥️

congrats!!!! Did the officer tell you right there? Any estimate on when you get your passport back via mail?

If you don't mind me asking, when was medical completed? His was done on March 1st, and we just scheduled the interview today for March 14th. I am hoping we gave ourselves enough time?
