I've just fired up my Mac for the first time in MONTHS. Firefox is POO.

Just got Chrome and seems to be doing the trick.

Thank you. 😬

Welcome. :) My cousins were trying to fill up their DS-160 on a mac and they couldn't even get passed the Location and Captcha. They did some research and yeah apparently it's because of the browser. So they downloaded chrome and it worked fine. :D

Okay... So, the DS-160 is done and done. Huzzahhhhhh.

Erm... Now what? 😳 Do I schedule an interview or do I have to wait for something else?

Question for anyone that has had medical. My fiances daughter has a cavities in a couple teeth that need taken care of. Will this be s problem in the medical exams? (St. Lukes)

my fiance is kinda worried about it.

do not think it matters:  I went ahead and got my fiancees and daughters cavities filled just because of cost, even with insurance it was less to have them filled there.

I think you can schedule your interview!

I actually had my interview today and it was approved! You're getting super close to the end now!

Aaaahhh, congratulations.

Hmm... I just filled everything out online and it says "The Immigrant Visa case number provided is not ready to schedule an appointment."

B'UUUUUUHHHHHHHH.

Didyou receive an appointment letter?

No worries.  They are looking for TB and STDs.  The cavities will not even be a concern.

I did, but it was after I had scheduled. What does CEAC say your visa case status is?

"No data returned"

My other half sent me a screen shot of it saying ready a couple of weeks ago. I'm SO confused. ☹️ This has been nothing but confusing, troublesome, and a pain in the butt through the whole process 😂

Flights are ridiculous right now.  The cheapest flights have 14 hour stopovers and if I want something reasonable they are between $1500 and $2000 per person.  I have never seen this.  I usually travel in the $500 RT range.  I am completely blown away. What happened?

In the Philippines you can do it as soon as you receive the MNL#.

Hmmm.

So...if you get your NOA2 in the next week or so...is there a possibility you could be there when Rose has her interview? Given how fast things are moving after NOA2 again now...and Manila is a fast embassy, isn't it?

Well, it depends on that NOA2, so...yeah. I'm just saying, that'd be really cool.  Hope springs eternal!!!

And yes, either way, you get to see the fam. Win-win!

:D

It is possible.  Manila interviews can be a month or two out because of the sheer numbers but people have had luck checking online everyday for cancellations.  Right now I am planning on going back again in May (if lucky) to pick them up.  I wouldn't mind just having one trip to do it all though!  :D

Yeh it is crazy my flight was $1000 and then I paid an extra $185 so on my return trip to Chicago I wouldn't have a 14 hour layover.

The original cost I was looking at was $730 but it was an ADDITIONAL $976 if I wanted to avoid the 14 hours in Incheon!

I did find an April 12 to April 20 for $692.  It is a shorter visit than I hoped for but the price is decent.
