  1. Hi.. I don't see a problem, but the Officer would want to see the proof that you guys stay together every other weekend. So, you need to start taking pictures and also, flight/bus tickets, restaurant receipts and other evidence to put you two together.
  2. My hubby & I are currently on our way home from Chicago. I had my AOS interview few minutes ago. The officer was professional and has a great sense of humor. πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ƒ He asked me basic questions which include my name, address, security questions and asked my hubby how we met. He then, asked if we came with any evidence to show we are living together. We gave him our insurance forms, mails from the schools I applied to, acceptance certificates from the schools, certificates of the programs I completed showing my address, flight tickets and the photo album (71 Pictures). He pointed at one picture and asked where that was (picture we took at the courthouse when we applied for our marriage license). He asked if he can keep some of the pictures, I said yes because I just printed the pictures for the interview and I have over a 1000 on my camera. He kept them saying everything is okay, he has approved us and I will receive my GC in 3 or 4 weeks from today. Everything took about 10 minutes. Good luck to everyone still in this long process. ❀
  3. I know I've been MIA. I'm sorry for that and it's because of school and work. Update: I got my interview date last two weeks for July 9th. NOA1: November 27th, 2018. Chicago Office Love y'all! ❀
  4. Hello Everyone... I have a suggestion for everyone still waiting for EAD (November). I called USCIS on Monday (April 8th) and requested to be transferred to Tier2, but they were busy/unavailable according to the Customer Rep. and advised I call back the next morning. On Tuesday (April 9th), I called in the morning and after about 30 minutes, the Cust. Rep. picked, transferred and I requested for Automatic Callback from Tier2 Officer. The Officer called me back after 2 hours and I explained the reason I called...'I filed since November last year and I'm so in need of my EAD because I would love to apply for my DL, renew my state ID and able to move around and not just be stuck at home. Also, I can see January being approved while November is left behind.' He explained the Timeline and how all cases are different. I agreed about all cases being different, but...'doesn't mean my case is faulty. I applied for EAD with AOS and I know I didn't make any mistake during the application. So, if there's any mistake, it's better I get a response from y'all instead of absolute silence and abandonment of my file'. I told him that was just the reason I called, bid goodbye and cut the call. On Wednesday (April 10th), I got a Notification of 'New Card is being Produced'. Give them a call and explain your situation. You've got nothing to lose.
  5. Oh yea..thanks a lot. Good luck in your journey as well. 😊
  6. EAD-New Card Produced: April 10th Filed: Nov. 22nd NOA1: Nov. 27th
  7. If so.."up to 22months", USCIS advised you file for Naturalization (Citizenship) because even without the Removal of Conditions, you're still a legal PR.
  8. Hi.. @MarksMate I reside in Peoria too. How's everything going with you?
  9. Hi... Please, always remember to update your timeline when you get a positive feedback, especially EAD from USCIS. It helps us all. Thank you.
  10. Congrats! 🎊🎊 Please, update your timeline.
  11. Your Advanced Parole (AP) comes as part of the EAD. That's why it's called 'Combo-Card'. Congrats.
  12. Congrats, Dearie. 😍😍 I'm stuck with Chicago pile of files. πŸ˜‚ I'm so excited for you.πŸ’ƒπŸ»β€πŸ’ƒπŸ»
