Hello June Flier Friends!

im checking in to see how everyone is doing! Still praying for everyone from June who is still dealing with the USCIS bastards. We got our NOA2 Jan 28 and the website still hasn’t updated our status and the post office lost our hard copy to boot. We need the NOA2 copy apparently for the AOS, so I get to call them again. My fiancé is flying to Jakarta today and she has her interview tomorrow. We are so excited! Things moved really fast once we got our NOA2. We are hoping she can get her visa by next Monday and we will buy a ticket for her to come here literally the day after. Hoping everyone else is getting close as well. I’ll post info about her interview after it’s over. Wish us luck!

My fiancee has her's next Tuesday in Jakarta if you could please let me know how it goes my fiancee is getting nervous about the interview.

Hello June Filers!

Congratulations on all who have passed this stage and has moved successfully to the others.. Unfortunately, I received a easy RFE for documents I had initially sent 🤔 on Jan 12. On Jan 25 USCIS received it and I have submitted service requests. It said that an officer has been assigned for adjucation. How long?! For a decision who knows.. 🤣 266 days.

We are just a week into them receiving my response.  Day 274 for us.

PHILIPPINES ONLY!!!  CFO (Commission on Filipinos Overseas) INFO - Can't leave home without it!

PDOS (Pre-Departure Registration and Orientation Seminar) is for ages 20-59.  Peer Counseling is for 13-19 years of age.

It is required to have the visa in their passport for PDOS and Peer Counseling.

GCP (Guidance and Counseling Program) is for K-1 Fiancee and IR/CR-1 spouse ONLY.

Congratulations!!!!🎊🍾🎉

my RFE was received Feb 5 and still no answer. I have tried hard not to be pessimistic... still trying 😔

What was your RFE for?

I’d suggest calling and speaking to a tier 2 everyday until you get some sort of actual update. I agree with @John & Rose that the squeaky wheel gets the grease!

They told me 30-60 days when I called to inquire  about my received RFE

They did not give me time 😐 only that it was being adjucated. Lets see 🤔

I didn’t want to get on their bad side. But your words have encouraged me to try again... I had called three weeks ago. Do you think enough time went by for me to call again?

Yes that should be plenty of time. I called them twice in the 8 days between my RFE being received and the approval. Just be polite and they should have no reason to be annoyed. Especially since they now say that they’re processing Aug 1 cases, so you are way outside of normal processing times.

I worked up my courage and called! Unfortunately they told me that I needed to wait a total of 60 days since my RFE received date in  Order to complain about a delay. They told me that it takes them 60 days and it’s their policy and every case is different when I told him that others have received a r sponge within 2 -3 weeks max with the same RFE  items as I got. She didn’t know what to say to that so she just quoted policy to me. I just feel defeated and hopeless right now. 😔

Dont be discouraged.  That is the Tier I standard answer.  Do an online inquiry and a Congressional too.  You will get it soon.  The person you were talking too was just following the script.  Keep your head up.  This will happen sooner than you think.

I received a RFE December 28 th , they received my evidence January 27th.  It was the same thing proof that we met before we applied a lot of the evidence they already had so I had to resubmit it in a little bit more of evidence like a few sworn statements from friends and someone that was with me when we met that was notarized.

It is now Day 40 From them receiving my evidence and I still have heard nothing. A week and a half ago I submitted a case review and also still have heard nothing.

My NOA1 was 5-30-2017 😩

Approved! The officer was really sweet, not nearly as intimidating as I expected. I celebrated afterwards with some poutine at a cool little spot.

It was a pleasure to meet you. I'm about to board my train back to Toronto and pass out.

My status on the CEAC tracker changed to AP, which I read is normal.

Yessss!!!  YAY!!!  Congratulations!  :D

It was a pleasure to meet you too!  My train was a little delayed and then traffic was murder of course. But I'm home now and SO ready to relax.

My tracker says AP as well. Let's hope this part goes quickly now.

Best of luck to you both! (L)
