  1. Nope. Honestly, it caught me by surprise. I wasn't expecting to hear anything until February. I guess they are working faster, who knows!
  2. Hi everyone. Both of my EAD and Advance Parole applications were approved on December 14th! I found out via email ("We have taken an action on your case") and then signed in to myUSCIS account. It's a Christmas miracle! Yours is coming too 😜
  3. I don't think people are anxious to get 'back home.' Changes can be difficult, especially if they come all at once and immigration imposes more restrictions to your new life, even if it's temporarily. We are all in the same process but we come from different cultures and backgrounds. Good for you that you haven't felt homesick!
  4. Found it https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ So if I'm correct, the EAD processing times depend on the service center, not the field office (*sigh*).
  5. Hey everyone! So this weekend I met two people that filed their AOS (marriage-based) at the same office as me and both have been waiting for a year for their EAD without any luck. They have only received their AP a few months ago. Does anyone has the USCIS link where I can check the average processing times according to the office location? I really hope we are just talking about a coincidence here but who knows. I'm trying really hard not to freak out right now lol.
  6. I feel you. Not being able to work makes this change more difficult for me. Married life has its challenges and its harder to cope when you don't have much to do during the day and your friends and family are not around. Hopefully we'll receive some good news in the upcoming weeks!
