That's what I'm thinking, given that it's non immigrant it is unclear. I don't know whether to understand the EO as this is what effects people entering as an IMMIGRANT, or if it means this applies to everyone and this will be the only entry to US allowed right now, if that makes any sense what so ever?

I hope K1 is included as an exception. If "spouses" are exluded from ban, i think it would be logical to exclude fiances from the ban as well... fingers crossed!!

Seems like those with visas are fine, and most of those already in US are fine. The people it will really affect are those waiting on visas. Anyone agree with this summary ?

Anyone know the answer to this?

If you are currently outside of the US with an AP, you can come back.  Boarding foils are more rare, but essentially if you are in possession of a valid travel document you are good.

Just to confirm. If you are:

1. Have a conditional GC in hand

2. Married to US Citizen

3. Inside US

This EO does not apply to you, removing condition on that GC and naturalization?

My question exactly..

So from what I understand, I should still be able to apply for AOS once I get married? I'm currently in the US, engaged to a USC.

youd hope so, but a fiance isnt a spouse, its a potential spouse sure, but theres nothing to say that the marriage will 100% go ahead. I hope they allow the K1s though.

wondering about this too. I'm LPR and my spouse is a Clinical Lab Scientist. Wondering if it's worth asking NVC if they continue processing him or not

Thank goodness and i still hope this ends soon

THIS. thanks for the great summary!!

When you say doesn't impact LPRs.. can you clarify if this means that spouses and children of LPRs are ok, or just the LPRs themselves. I know this was a question a few people kept asking

It does impact LPRs.  EDIT:  I mis-stated here.  What I meant to say was the LPRs who are in fields related to fighting COVID-19 and are trying to bring their spouses in via a CR/IR-1 are exempted.

If you have the visa in hand, you are ok!

If you are already the spouse of a USC, you can continue applying / processing I believe. Can someone please confirm that's how you interpret it also?

Agreed, you either must have visa in hand or be spouse of usc..

LPR applications and fiancé applications pending for both usc/lpr suspended
