We have an NOA1 date of August 29th ... getting nervous / excited to see you that people are getting approved with dates so close to and the same as mine. I am now wanting to check the most accurate And updated source. I have the app and have been checking online. I know this is a silly question but there’s an old and new site? I have only been checking https://www.uscis.gov/ is this the new site or old?

The most accurate source is your mailbox. Neither old nor new site are reliable. At least they are not reliable in a sense of telling you were approved. But yes, there are 2 sites. Apps only check old. For new one you need to create account.

I'm having an issue checking the sites for an update...

on egov.uscis.gov/casestatus am I getting this message: On August 31, 2018, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WACXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by September 30, 2018, contact the USCIS Contact Center at www.uscis.gov/contactcenter. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

but on my.uscis.gov/account/onboarding/track/new i am getting this error message when trying to input my WAC#: There was an error syncing your case. Try again in a few minutes.

This message has shown since last night.

is this anything i should be worried about? haven't received anything in the mail.

thanks

From what I can see above his name is "Notice Date: 01/15/2019" / Page 1 of 1

Does this mean approval?!?! Just wondering those who got NOA2 in the mail... was it just 1 page?!

Yes; Page 1 of 1 is an approval. RFEs are longer.

Nothing to worry about. It's been our experience that USCIS is not very diligent in keeping applicants informed or updating any websites.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

thank you... i wasn't sure if the message on the old site was the standard wording so I became worried with the error message on the new site. I've updated my profile and timeline.

well, up to 77 approved for August. A couple September people were approved a couple days ago also.

from looking at people's timelines for Ukraine it looks like we for the most part have a 6 month wait, so i am expecting maybe in the next 2-3 weeks hearing something back. Shiran looks like the lucky one, but he said that his was a very easy one with no issues. I have multiple things for them to look at so I kinda understand a little if mine takes longer, i just hope they look carefully and dont send me an RFE for stuff I already sent 😄

RoC sent 10/30/21

NOA 11/16/21

Check Cashed 11/18/21

Biometrics Waived 01/19/2022

They requested expedite. No luck with that, but the case has been looked at early and adjudicated soon enough. We are a complicated case IMO, both for USCIS and the Embassy, but we made it at 179 days without an RFE. Frankly speaking I sort of expected an RFE, notwithstanding the fact that we frontloaded (heavily). Seeing 'approved' came a kind of a shock to me. I took the tablet to my visiting fiance and asked what can he see there. He must have thought I've overdone it with drinks that night :)

I know that feeling. I scanned NOA2 the moment I got home, and have it on google drive, and every once in awhile I would pull it up even while at work and look at the image to make sure its real.

Today I finally got e-mail from NVC reaffirming our NVC case number (something I knew already from calling them earlier this week)
