Hi everyone I am august 21 filler approved today :) Can anyone tell me what is the next step, and how long would take for visa , interview will be in Belgrade  . Thanks!!

I had the same thing happen to me last Thursday and when I asked to speak to the guys superior they hung up on me. August 10th here so can feel your pain. Sending good thoughts and hugs your way.

Hello All! Received our NOA2 in mail today!! so surreal! Case status still says received online! Congratulations to all others who received their approvals!! and goodluck to those waiting!

 You could also give bank statements which show transactions of you and your fiance happening from the same location on the same dates. Any bus/plane/train tickets! Good luck!! Im sure you'll be on your way to an approval in no time!!

Congrats! My fiancee is from Bosnia so his interview will be there. I'm assuming the process is very similar for Serbia. You wait for NVC to receive your case, takes about 2-4 weeks and then they assign a case #. Sometimes within the same day to a few days sometimes it takes longer. Start calling after a week, that's what i did. We were just approved on 2/27! I was told for Bosnia you can schedule the medical even if you don't have your NVC case number so I'm having my fiancee do that tomorrow. I found a couple on here that are from Bosnia that went through the process and she sent me the papers that the embassy sent them so i suggest you try to find someone from Serbia and inquire about the process. I was told we can fill out the DS-160 right away too, don't have to wait for the status to be ready so i plan on doing that soon too. Once the case is at NVC and gets a case #, NVC will send it to the embassy where the interview will be held at. You can check your status online on CEAC and once it states the documents are at the embassy, i suggest emailing the embassy right away then you should be able to schedule the interview online, if the process is the same for Serbia. We cannot tell you how long it would take for your visa as that is embassy specific. It depends on so many factors.
For instance, am hearing that the Russian embassy is booked for a few months.
So getting interviews, medical appointments, and other delays can change things.

Called and spoke with a nice tier 2 rep today.  Said I was rfe'd 2/26 but, he didn't see a notice going out.  He put in a service request and changed the reason since we are still within normal processing times.  And boom just like that I was updated via email, text, online and the app that and rfe was sent out today.  I updated my timeline.  I can't think of what it can be since I'm pretty sure I covered all bases.  However, I digress and will wait and see the surprise.<_< Maybe it has to do with my last petition and my divorcing the (insert adjective here).  :P

i send a very detailed of how, when an where i met my fiance. I mean it was to the T. Restaurants and more. Circumstances that we laughed about and all the things we talked about, likes, dislikes and more.  Don't forget, hotel bookings with her and your name, luggage tags, boarding passes, passport stamps, pictures of known places like churches or historical places in her town. Things they can verify as true, not photoshopped. We met in a 3rd country and thank God for buoroecracy there....we had an official police registration from the hotel in Moscow, Russia.

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

FYI- we saw in the previous months USCIS sending requests for things people already sent. lol
We ain't sure if they're losing files down there :jest:
So that might be it-- But that's always an easy fix

Funny you mention this.  I told my fiancé and he said it's a formality because so many people are migrating here that they just want to throw roadblocks, maybe trying to deter people.  But, they have the wrong one if that's the case.  I'm in it to win it!
