Hello - We are still waiting for word on our application received August 31, but I feel better seeing the chart @Naes created that shows more than 1/2 of August's applications are untouched.   Thanks for posting that!  I check the scans you are posting every day for August 31.

 

Has USCIS stopped updating everyone by e-mail and the apps?  It sounds like everyone is either finding out from talking to a tier 2, informed delivery, or simply finding the envelope in their mailbox.  My apps haven't made a peep since mid-February, but a scan of nearby cases shows a few August 31 RFEs and approvals since then.  I am tempted to call and ask for a tier 2 for an update, but since I am still under 200 days, maybe it is too soon.

NOA2 13 February 2018

NVC Case # Assigned 2 March 2018

 

Question, when I go to the CEAC tracker website it will only show me my case if I choose IMMIGRANT VISA in the Visa Application Type Box and then in the little pop up (which stills shows our case as AT NVC) it gives me a link with some instructions about a DS-261, fees that need to be paid, sending some forms to the NVC and then they will schedule the interview at the emabssy, a DS-260 and so on.

 

I am very confused because I thought this K-1 Visa was non-immigrant and I needed to fill out a DS-160 and that when NVC gave us a case number everything would be sent to the Embassy and then they would send us our Packet 3 with further instructions. 

 

So am I freaking out over nothing or what?

Hi. Our app still shows as "Received" and we got our informed usps delivery on 3/3. Noa1 8/21/17and  Noa2 2/28. Safe to say that the app is not being updated right away.

I have an NOA1 from August 7th and waiting for my USCIS letter in the mail today.  On USCIS website it still says received. No changes there. I have been told i got an approval. I did not call USCIS and speak to a Tier 2.

 

Wish you good luck and be patient. I know, i was getting frustated too waiting for somekinda RFE or approval

IVe been approved since February 27 and still no app or online update! I found out calling tier 2! So definitey cal them! Call early in the morning if you can!

Yes, you are freaking out over nothing. LOL 

For the purposes of NVC and processing, it will show up as an "immigrant" visa. That's what you need to use to track your case file. 
Don't worry. That's perfectly normal

You do have to fill a DS-160, not 260
And for the whole embassy sending you packet 3, that depends on the embassy. Some embassies have it online, some physically contact you.
Check around your embassy forums and figure out how that's done.

Just a note to all wondering about this whole case tracker and updating--
Chances are, if you got a Silent NOA2, (you got your approval in the mail with no notification), the app will NEVER update.
We know many people from MAY who already did POE (Point of Entry) with silent NOA2 and their app still says received.

 

Don't worry so much about updating and not.
Move on. Enjoy your approval and on to NVC!

An hour ago when we received a letter we found out that we had received RFE on February 28. It was Day 194. No information online or on a website. Just a letter. 😔😔😔😔 August 18
