DQ email from NVC states that they will work with the embassy to schedule the interview next, so just wanted to know what happens exactly.

 

 

as said up above , yes DQ mean that you case is complete .   your status on ceac will stay " at NVC " till you get you interview letter , then it will change for " in transit " to the consular office

Hello guys how long take nvc transfer to consulate my case ? I just send everything today 3 day ago i recieve my welcome nvc .. mean how long after submited going be transfered to consulate

Depends on how long it takes you to get DQ... 

 

DQ will take 4-6 weeks if you’re lucky... longer if you get RFE then transfer to consulate, making of interview appointments etc..

 

likely at least another 2-3 months from your uploading documentsto nvc.

There’s a button, says add sponsor on your home screen after you log in

This waiting really kills it. Especially I feel like you never know if they received it, lost it, if you are under the pile for whatever reason or you are next to be reviewed.

Especially because some get DQ after 2 days, some get DQ after 4 weeks, some get DQ after 6 weeks, and some almost wait 2 months. 

 

urghhh this is really a tough process on all involved. But I feel like especially as the immigrant you put your life on hold a bit.

Like you know you will leave soon, when do you quit your job (some countries have a very long period of notice (their employer).

Then arrange the flights (most of the time the earlier, the cheaper).

When to look for a job in the US and possibly a new apartment with the hubby (more space).

Sending all your belongings. 

etc etc etc etc etc.

 

Im only waiting 15 days since sending everything to NVC (CEAC). And this is driving me crazy.

Im on of the fairly lucky ones who 'just' waited 7 months to get through USCIS but damn this is hell.

My life’s been on hold now 14.5 mths... and it truely sucks...

 

I just wanting it over and done with now, sick of waiting 😢 my hubby and I have so many plans for our future and it’s frustrating not being able to put them into motion... hating this entire process.

 

But looking very forward to my vacation and seeing him on Saturday, I can’t wait to board the plane and be with him for a month.

When did you submitted your documents? I submitted my documents on 11/07 still waiting

We passed the interview and visa was approved! I ll get passport back hopefully by the end of the week and fly as soon as i get it. End of 15 months of hopes, tears, pain, frustration ...

Iam uploading AOS documents now and NVC are asking for a proof of domicile for my joint sponsor and he already lives in the states, what should be that proof of domicile ??

I put their drivers licenses, though this whole NVC thing has me worried that they will reject everything

just an FYI on processing times, we submitted our DS 260 mid October (then I added a few extra docs first week of November), got DQ Dec 5.  so about a 6 week time frame from when we originally submitted

Sounds good. Submitted November 1st, hopefully I get something this coming week.
