Hello I’m the beneficiary here , my wife filed the form 1-30 on 6th feb 19 and the money was deducted on the 13th .. please what does it mean ?

Hello welcome and that means they cashed the money you and your wife should receive or should have received the NOA1. you might want to call them if you didn't get an email or letter in the mail to find out your receipt and service center information

Hi everyone,

We finally received the NOA1 in our mail with notice date 21-2.

We are assigned to Nebraska unfortunately I read on the other forums that process time is now taking up to 14 months before receiving a NOA2 from Nebraska!! Anyone any idea when/why this will take this long?

The visa indicator says 7,5/10 months.

Who else is assigned to Nebraska?

Oct 7th 2019: Delivered

Oct: 11th 2019: Received NOA1

14 months is very rare, most approvals I’ve been seeing on this website have been around 9 months. I have Nebraska as well unfortunately, same NOA1 as you! We’ll get through this together!

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

So many people getting sent to Nebraska, even from petitions from states outside Nebraska's usual jurisdiction!! It's crazy! The workload for the service centers is SO unbalanced.

Heyy guys

We filed by the end of January and got NOA1 in February 6th, our case was sent to Potomac.

Hopfully the wait wouldn't be long because last I checked they were processing November filers so I'm estimating 3 more months to get NOA2

Good luck everyone

We sent our packet in and it was delivered on Feb 23rd. It was sent to Chicago lock box. They have yet to cash our checks, which makes me worried! No text or email notification of receipt. Nothing in the mail.

Hi al, I'm practically new here and wondering if anyone else got their documents returned ? :((

Our lawyer sent our I-130 petition around Feb 21st, and we received NOA (March 12) saying that my husband's G-1450 was invalid, or the credit card info supplied was denied. My husband and lawyer double checked the credit card info so we don't think it was a mistake on our side, he was just never charged the $535.

We filed this thorugh a lawyer and they told us they got several other petitions back, so we figured it was related to govt lockdown, but looking thorugh this topic it seems that everyone's been charged as expected.

Anyway we sent the documents again but this time sent a check, we were so sad it's like going back to square one but oh well.

We got married in late December and intended to apply by late January but ended up doing so in late February, and now started all over in mid March.. good luck everyone!

Our lawyer used a money order and they didn't have issue charging it. We got married in June 2018 and only managed to send ours by Jan 29th 2019 so I get how you must be feeling, but you will get there, stay strong!!

Phoenix lockbox received my package on 22nd February 2019. Got NOA1 on February 27 2019. Processing center is Texas. Long wait for NOA2 starts now. We will get through this long wait guys. I know it is difficult to be apart from your spouse for a good 1 year or so. Let's stay positive and patient and we will be reunited with our loved one very soon!
