Comments : I got my interview letter on 6th August 2020, found out on 27th August 2020 that my then husband was cheating on me and had been since May 2020.I filed for divorce on 28th August 2020, and after the year date from my interview date passed my application was automatically withdrawn.
I did ask my then husband to send a letter to the US embassy in london withdrawing but he didn’t so had to suffer the trauma of the letter a year later. But hey Ho these things happen

Embassy Review : Initially this was going to be a review of my greencard interview experience however I never got to the greencard interview after, luckily, finding out my then husband had been cheating on me.
I stayed in the Uk
Otherwise I have attended the US Embassy on several
Occasions with my dual citizen children for passport renewals and never encountered any issues. As long as you follow the instructions given to you before hand and as you go.

Thanks for the luck, I didn’t attend my interview as I discovered my now ex husband had been cheating on me. I filed for divorce the day after I found out ( a couple of weeks after I got my interview letter) and have been divorced since March 2021 It explains a lot of why he was not interested in the visa process.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
