No, I got everything squared away. Just waiting for them to email PKT3 so we can get her medical done. I got tired of "where is my" so I had to leave for a spell lol

Please I need so clarifications on this,  I just got an interview appointment date with the Nigerian Embassy, on the 4th of February.

My question is 1. When am I going to receive the appointment letter for the medical?

2. They said that it takes two weeks for the medical to be ready, so if I do the medical on Saturday 19th, do u think it will be ready before 4th of February

3. My finance was not able to upload my photo in the Ds 160 he filled out, what do I do about it?

Unless noted ALWAYS use your legal name and NEVER nicknames like honey bunch.

There should be no problems at the interview if the adoptive paperwork and your birth certificate can be tied back to the I-129f and DS-160.

I’m talking about in the section where they ask did you have any nicknames or other names used I put my nickname because it’s an actual name but completely different from my real name. I’m just saying when they asked the same question on the ds160 it was worded different asking about professional alias so I said no

in our case we declared a nickname on our i129f and ds160 bc she uses a made-up name on a large social media platform that has our relationship progression documented. She never uses that name elsewhere but that fact is also impossible to prove.  it makes a headache and adds a little cost for the extra cenomar and such, but it was also the "right thing to do" in the interest of full disclosure.

As I can see it then you completed the entries truthfully and correctly. Nothing to worry about.

1. No one is going to send you an appointment letter for your medicals. You walk-in into any of the medical centers listed on the P3 for your check up.

2. Yes if you go for your medical appointment on Saturday, it will be ready before February 4th.

3. Your fiance must upload your picture on your ds160 else you will be turned back at the embassy.

Way forward: ask him to check or modify the resolution of the picture, you can take another digital pix and have the soft copy forwarded to your email or phone directly. You can easily upload it from your device.

Do not attempt to submit your ds160 without your passport size photo uploaded on it.

For further information, you can send me a direct message.

I thought there is no need to upload photo anymore as it will be taken at application service center. Please correct me as I already submitted DS160 without photo . Or is it different for different embassies?
