Hey guys! Even though we got our case approved on the 18th of December, the websites still show "received" and NVC hasn't received it yet. Any advice? Thanks!

Keep contacting the NVC. It can take a few weeks for them to receive the file.

That's normal? Lots of people have been approved without the web sites being updated.

And it usually takes 2-3 weeks before NVC receives your case (it took us 17 days from a mid-November approval).

There isn't any reason to CALL. You're in normal processing time. My guess is next week at best.

Last go to the top of this page and under the tab "portals" on the blue ribbon choose it and then search for your country. Lots of information there.

When executing your AFP be sure you use "You would choose the Commonwealth employment/Purpose for your Purpose Type and then Code 33 for Immigration/Citizenship as your Purpose of Check."

January 7 and still no results. Based on my timeline here, I should get a result between December 21 to 28. Should I let my fiancee call USCIS now?

VJ estimations are very incorrect. By VJ, we should have been approved before Christmas (NOA1 July 7th) but in fact we only were approved Jan 2nd. We agreed to wait till 7 full months before calling though. Found out through new website, NO notifications. Old site is still 'received'. NOA2 hard copy must have arrived by now. Just give another week or two

So ridiculous!! I really wish the process was more human and actually treated us like people. I feel like the entire process needs a huge revamp, has to be a better way...

hopefully it’s an easy fix and you can get it approved ASAP :)

I received my RFE letter today and it was just what i thought they wanted another copy of my divorce decree because the copy they received was not clear or legible. So i sent an original copy back lol like 15 min after i got it in the mail.

I  would suggest you to create an account on new website. That is more reliable.
