ROC approved in 4 months. I feel so lucky!

I don’t know what worked. I filed my ROC just 4 months ago in June, got emails saying case is approved and that they ordered my card. I thought (still think) it was a joke. I still think it’s a glitch and won’t believe it until I have the card in my hands.

What’s your priority date ? June what? Mine is July 24th and I will like to know how soon I might hear back from them . By the way, congratulations!!!!🎉

Sometimes these weird things happen! When we filed the K1, we received the Noa1 in a week and my Noa2 3 weeks later. Our case was ready for interview at the embassy less than 2 months later. It was so crazy considering the wait time is almost a year by the time it gets to the embassy. Sometimes these things happen! CONGRATS!

To everyone else hoping on the same result;

Sometimes cases get fast tracked, there is no rhyme or reason. There have been rumors that some files get pulled to make the numbers look better, but nobody really knows. Some people get lucky, I had this happen with my AOS and nobody knows why. Copying the petition package does not guarantee a speedy processing.
