No I went in person to the passport office here in Houston because I am traveling on a cruise this Saturday. You can get a passport in a few days/same day if you have travel plans within two weeks. Just I paid like 225 for the passport and the expedite fee. And no the passport card wouldn’t serve me any good as I usually travel by air and internationally. So i just got the book. I have no reason to drive to Canada lol

Your oath will be 2-3 weeks after you interview or maybe sooner. I had my oath 2.5 week after my interview. Got my expedited US passport yesterday had appointment last Wednesday and picked up yesterday.
