when I arrived at the airport, it took 1 minute to check, they took the envelope from me, stamped my passport, took a photo, asked when our wedding ,that's all!  I took my bags  after 5 minutes, and stood at the airport for another 40 minutes, because my husband didn’t expect the check to be so fast🤦🏻‍♀️

Came thru LAX in November in about 30 minutes. I was with my fiancee and I will never forget the look on her face when she saw all the welcome to America signs and flags some people had. It was like her wildest dreams come true, and at the 5 month mark we're going strong, there have been challenging situations, but we are strong, and will get thru.

Congrats, I came thru LAX at 10pm and drove to Vegas that night, didn't get home til 3am, I was pretty tired too. Should have did what you did and got a room for the night.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Well, I live in Florida and work in Philadelphia.  So my life is on the other coast.  I just flew out here to meet her.  We are going to spend the weekend doing tourist stuff around LA.  Then fly back to Pennsylvania on Sunday.  Florida on Thur night to get our paperwork for the wedding in order.

I'm just glad the immigration stuff is behind us.

And yes, I am happy I had a room so close to the airport she could sleep in.

Shout out to fellow Philadelphian (kinda!) Visa Journey person! So happy this is happening for you and the wait is finally over and you get to be with her!!

Curious, do you fill out the AOS in Florida or Philly?
