Omg I know all of this. I'm not that slow to what goes on. He knows it as well. They will be fine. That is up to the rest of the family. No I'm not paying for his family.

How many visits have you both had in person? 1-2?

I didn’t nor would even risk that for the UK. We met 9 times within 2 years, left us broke but we couldn’t cope not seeing each other more than 12-16 weeks apart. They commended us in the UK when I done my interview for meeting regularly. I understand the fiancial restrictions though for those further apart. Regular visits are important, especially for high fraud countries.

Truth be told, I wanted my husband to come to UK to live but he was more established here in US than I ever was and had a far more superior job so I came here instead.

Good luck! The regular travelling my husband had between NOA1 and NOA2 was amazing!! ❤️

Regarding the visits, same here.  Even though my husband is from a low/no fraud country, and we were penpals in the 1980s and met in person in 1991, we had 9 visits in 3 years.  (14 hour direct flights and ~$1500 RT between the west coast and Auckland, New Zealand).  We are now broke, but happily married ❤️❤️❤️

They answered by telling you the common reasons why visas are denied.   99% of the time the consulate will not tell you why they denied you, as they just have to tell you they don't feel the relationship is bona-fide.  They don't tell you why they have those thoughts.  No one here can tell you what they don't even have for themselves.

That's why people suggest a CR1 because if it's denied, you do get the reasons why and you have an opportunity to appeal.

@Unshakable Faithmakes an excellent point.  Many "denials" (or, lapses in time leading to expiration, or ad infinitum AP) are not clearly explained by the COs.  This is by design.  By not disclosing details about their vetting process, they are safeguarding that process against fraudsters.

No one said you were *slow.*  You can take or leave the advice given in this thread, but know that it comes from YEARS of personal experience and research, and stems from people genuinely wanting to help educate you on this very complex process.   It is not easy, cheap, or fast.  Casablanca is right up there with Lagos in terms of difficulty of approval for marriage based visas.

Why does it matter?

Try to step back a little and understand that people are attempting to give you a more well-rounded view of what typically happens in cases like yours.  And generously letting you know "extra" information relevant to your situation to save you not only time but money as well.

The information you've been given in this thread is based on personal experiences, years of dealing with immigration in many forms and USCIS in general, anecdotes from other members as reported before in these forums, knowledge gleamed from some who went through the same consulate, and advice from those who have been denied a K1 in the past.

We all know (on one level or another) what we've had to go through to be with our loved ones....The immigration journey is one that can get complicated and confusing at best...heart-wrenching and near-impossible at its worst.

People have stuck with this thread for pages to give you as much information as possible, asked questions (which you thought irrelevant) to be able to give better advice, and offered info on other aspects you may not have thought about while you go through the K1 process (and potentially the CR-1 afterwards).

No one wants to see anyone's petition fail if a relationship is real and true.  No one wants to see YOU fail.  I guess what I'm asking is try to help us help you.  More knowledge is better than less.

Not to mention the changing stories, the email account (I have more than one, he probably does as well) and the complete disregard for literally all advice....
