We are July 18th / July 23rd still nothing either. Driving us crazy!

The PSA in the Philippines is notorious for misspellings and missing information on birth certificates. You should look over your BC to make sure everything is correct as well as your passport. Now is the time to get that corrected. You might want to get a copy of your NBI to see if there are any problems with it. Again, now is a better time to get it corrected if you find something wrong. Be sure to use all your AKA's when they do the search. Make sure your passport doesn't expire any time before a year from now as this is a long process and you could be running around getting a new one at the last minute. So get it renewed if it is expiring in 2019.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

not to intend to change the topic. but just wondering how long will it take from NOA2 to NVC ready? thanks any idea.

Every case is different. Ours was 42 days, though that included several holidays (Thanksgiving, day after, day of mourning for GHWB, Christmas Eve, Christmas). The current VJ average is 46 days ( go to https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical and add up step 3, 4, and 5).

I have a quick question for K1 interview and hope someone can help me.

Below is our K1 timeline so far.

File date: 7/6

NOA 1: 7/10

NOA 2:  11/1

NCV received our case: 11/23

NCV sent notification that our case has been sent to local embassy/consulate: 12/27 (this is the best Christmas gift for us. We were traveling together while my fiance received this email).

In NCV's email, it mentions my Case Number and USCIS Receipt Number. It also says I can start to prepare my interview. However, we haven't received an email from the local embassy/consulate (packet 3). Can I start to submit my DS-160 and schedule an interview appointment? Or, shall I wait until my fiance receive an email from the local embassy/consulate?

I miss my fiance a lot. Although we just finished our pre-honeymoon during Christmas together, I will wish we can have a speedy reunion in the US asap.  If I can start to schedule a VISA interview, I will do it immediately. But I don't want to make any mistake.

Lastly, congrats to everyone who got the petition approved and best wishes for people who are still waiting for good news.

Not knowing what country you are from hinders us in helping you as each embassy is different in their requirements. To help, you should complete your profile here on VJ.

Because, many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once we have your embassy from your profile we can possibly help you.

Thanks
