I AM SORRY FOR THIS QUESTION BUT I JUST WANT YOU PEOPLE TO SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS PLEASE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO LIE ABOUT THE NUMBER OF TIME WE MET IN PERSON PRIOR TO MARRIAGE AS WE HAVE ONLY MET ONCE IN PERSON THEN THE SECOND TIME WAS FOR THE WEDDING CEREMONY  BUT I AM THINKING IF IT IS POSSIBLE I SAY WE MET IN PERSON 2 TIMES BEFORE WE GOT MARRIED ON THE 3RD VISIT DURING MY INTERVIEW?

 PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS....

You should ALWAYS give truthful answers regarding immigration....period.  Anything else can result in unwanted consequences later.

There is nothing wrong in asking questions and you dont owe any one an apology. The only fact you have to bear in mind is that non existence claim without providing proof or evidence is just like wasting your time and creating more serious avenue for future lasting problems. So it will be in your best interest to mention only the number of times you met in person. Good luck.

How would you prove an additional meeting?

Good Morning....

As many others said, NEVER, BUT NEVER LIE TO AN COUNSELOR OR AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER...

900% agree with @Athens lie to an consulate officer  will raise you red flags (just putting in a side the fact that NEVER WE SHOULD LIE IN THE LIFE) , but, what evidence you have of that ghost visit (at least, at least the passport stamps) and that doesn´t exists, take this advice, go with your truth, the WHOLE truth to the end of the world, but never building a story based on a lie! Sooner or later Karma will take its part and that lie will be a serious trouble to you!

You think your evidence is not enough, well, in the worst case it will cause you an Admin Process (but you can rest in your pillow that you tell all the truth).

Remember that even if you don´t provide the information, you are under a strict background check, so another advise, don´t play with them, you can´t play with a counselor, inmigrant officer, that´s silly, they always will know the truth! Don´t do that!

After posting this question on a site that is monitored by immigration ( and they can figure out who you are by your computers address which is in the hidden data on every post) it would be a horrendously stupid idea to lie at your interview.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

As others have said you have to SHOW PROOF. It is not just word of mouth.

If it was that easy to just TELL a CO that you met all the requirements of a case, then there would be a lot of trees saved. I constantly see people speak about how many documents that had to tote to the interview for evidence. You will notice that when you go through this process you will have accumulated pounds of documents in boxes.

So to just lie about is not going to work.

What you can do is continue to visit either before you file or, if you have already filed, while the process is going on. This way, if they scrutinize the fact that you got married on the first trip you can have evidence that you have still continued to visit multiple times. This will also give you and your spouse a chance to build your relationship.
