We were hoping to file this month but have hit a bit of a snag in the process. The IV fee is paid, but the AOS fee has been "in process" since June 29th. I submitted an inquiry through "Ask NVC" with a screen shot of my bank statement that shows the money was taken out last week, but still no response yet. I can't access the AOS until that registers as paid.

I was wondering how long it took others for the fee to process and show as "paid?"

This happened to me. It took a good month from when I pad for it to clear. I submitted all documents I was able to and just waited...and waited...and waited. I eventually did the "ask nvc" and never heard back but a couple days later I was able to start AOS. I'm not sure if they fixed it after reading my message or what but it was very annoying but eventually got there!

I know that the Medical exams has to be valid when you enter   usa, but not sure about the police certifacte? Or its just for the embassy interview?

I believe the police records have to be valid for the time of the interview, not the USA entry.

You can always ask at the interview, when that time comes.

Finally got case creation email last night, roughly 50 days after initial approval. fees paid.

My case is in a similar situation to yours (case approved but no welcome letter, NVC didn't receive it until June 30, waiting more than 50 days now).  I know there are a few others floating around who have been dealing with this as well.

I haven't gotten any email yet but you finally getting yours is a very good sign, hope to get mine in the next day or two as well.  🤞

Sounds like uscis did a bulk transfer all of our cases on June 30th. You should get sth this week hopefully.

I certainly hope so.  In some ways waiting for NVC has been more frustrating than waiting for NOA2.

Hello All,

Has anyone had experience obtaining a police certificate in china. It has become a bit complex for a foreigner currently living in china seeking to obtain a police certificate. If there is anyone who has had first had experience obtaining same. Can you post the steps. I have read several things online but it has lead to nowhere . Based in Shaanxi province.
