Thanks for your reply . Now what is next after NVC  DQed email ?  In view of the revised EO , interview for IR-5 will not be held till 31st Dec.2020 . So IR-5 cases have to simply wait for another 6 months .   We care share our views as we are dealing with IR-5 , in future also . What is your opinion ?

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone else is having any issues using the ceac?

We submitter our docs June 5th and we got something back saying they needed us to reupload joint sponsors proof of US status. This wouldnt be a problem but the actual website isn't working to allow us to, it either says there's an application error and kicks us off or just spits out a load of lines of code when we go to click the link to upload the invalid doc. I'm really confused and starting to get nervous.

Any help/similar experience would be much appreciated. ❤️

I ran into this same issue when submitting my husband’s police clearance and military records - it’s annoying and takes forever to log in after getting kicked out of the system, but just keep at it. This happened to me on June 21st, just kept trying every few hours and was eventually able to get everything submitted just before midnight that same day. As far as I’m aware, this is a normal error and nothing to be worried about :)

Okay cool, and thank you for your response! It's a little frustrating on account of this having gone on for a couple days now but hopefully it's solved soon. They said something similar when my wife phoned as well, I guess we just gotta keep at it for now then. Thank you!

No worries! I totally feel your pain - the site is super fickle and it’s frustrating when you have everything that you need but it won’t upload properly. I hope you’re able to get it all sorted soon, it sounds like you’re in the home stretch!

All we can do now is to wait. Interviews for IR5 won’t be scheduled until the ban is lifted. So it could be another 6 months or even longer, if Trump stays in office. But if he loses in November, the suspension could be reversed faster and hopefully, Washington’s immigration laws will become more lenient and tolerant as they tend to be under Democrats’ leadership. If that’s the case, then the wait actually works in our favor.

We are in the home stretch indeed, silly that it's something as fickle as a slightly blurry birth certificate that's causing this hold up. We're now into day four of this error not letting us do anything... Surely there's something they can do to fix this? 😕
