  1. Not as a household member unless they filing tax together. Joint if sponsor doesn’t make enough income.

  3. Submission doesn’t automatically means acceptance by NVC. They will review the documents for accuracy and accept or reject the documents.
  4. You should be getting DQ soon. NVC section is where you will find people posting their timelines similar to yours.
  5. If you don’t have a formal job, nothing goes under employment. Not sure what studying “with friends” means. If you are properly enrolled in a school, then you should list that.
  6. Many people have gotten approved. You should spend some time searching. Every case is different some get approved within a few months and other are pending for over a year.
  7. The sponsor’s adult son can be a joint sponsor. IRS online transcripts are free of cost.
  8. Update the I-864 form with correct information, sign it, and take it to the interview with you. If asked, provide the updated I-864 and tell them that you made a mistake on the one submitted online.
