You submitted expedite request to NVC or corresponding embassy ?

I submitted it to the NVC, who then forwarded it to the embassy. It was approved for expedite once the preprocessing was done at the NVC or case complete. I just got DQ on Wednesday, so once the embassy receives the file I can book an appointment directly with the embassy rather than waiting for the NVC to book it

My wife has a high risk pregnancy that requires a C Section to give birth. She has had many health problems throughout the pregnancy and I have been caring for her in Colombia.

hello everyone,

out experience wasn't so awesome. Just letting you know whoever was concerned or wondering.

he was asked like 25 questions, and in the the end she issued him a 221g saying that my income isnt enough  when my income is $8000.00 over the guidelines. so just fyi for anyone who is going thru USE in tunis. Now i have to try to figure a way to show them I DON'T NEED A JOINT SPONSOR. and furthermore I am not going to put anyone else on the hook for financial responsibility of my husband when I am more than qualified to do it on my own.......

im hurt and upset and mad and feeling really hopeless because i know that this person that does the interviews in the USE in tunis has many complaints and very rarely approves anyone.

sorry for being late. just trying to process.

i dont understand. my income is so far above

you will get it soon.

Between 8000$ per month or year?

Hello Everyone.....
If I get my interview expedited, it seems that the NVC would transfer the case to the embassy and then I would have to coordinate with the embassy for an interview slot. However, I know that a lot of people are struggling to find and interview slot as everything is booked. So my question is, would the embassy have slots reserved for expedited cases, or would I have to try to secure a spot like everyone else?
?

From my understanding she makes $8000 over the guideline..

For example if the guideline for their case is to make $20k she make $28k..

I don't understand why they need a joint sponsor!

I can think about the net after taxes or something, so they are worried about that!

They don’t care about your gross income, they care more about your adjusted gross income!

That's terrible to get that far then they throw a wrench like that! How does that work that USCIS and NVC all looked at that and approved it forward for it to be stopped at the interview?

I got CC on 07/18, and just got the IL for an interview on 08/13 in Sydney, Australia!

Hi,

I'm also waiting for an IL for Sydney Australia. I got CC on the 25th of July. Just wondering if you applied for expedite. Amazed at how quickly you received your IL. All the best at your interview.
