Hello, from case completed to interview took you longer than average. Is this common for the US embassy in Tunisia? Thanks

I don’t know. That was the timeline from filing last year. There were some changes in 2018 application process that seems to really speed up the process for people that filed later in 2018 and now in 2019. For last year we actually got approved relatively fast at Uscis! We had to hold up for 6 weeks to wait for tax transcripts for 2018, so that added time @nvc. The consulate took nearly 90 days to schedule our interview.

What was the reason for your Administration Review?

Muslim nations are generally handed the DS-5535 after interview.
Don't know if that was the case here.

In appreciate the speculation however the reason they state is income. My income is 8000.00 per year over the guidelines, so it’s really just BS. Will handle it!

Good luck I hope everything is cleared for you soon.

I really hope things work out well for both of you.

Just an update. We’re still waiting for them to review the new submitted documentation.

Hi guys! How did your citizenship interview go?
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
