:( darn, so sorry.

online actually wouldn’t let me submit on the day that according the calculator I should have been eligible. (Then I got sidetracked and only ended up submitting 5 days later.) I was annoyed at the time but maybe I got lucky.

Hope you get this sorted out...good luck

Yep, the calculator says your earliest filing date is 10/30, so as long as your priority date says 10/30 then you're good.

Thank you for sharing this....that has to be tough, to be denied for being one day too early to file. 😭

I feel like this post needs to be pinned. It's really important and a simple mistake that anyone could easily make.

Get’em, Hypnos.

We actually filed the day my husband became eligible, but later in the evening.  We also have the Dallas field office.

I believe you had a longer, convoluted process for your entire immigration journey.  I am really rooting for you, Hypnos.  I really want to see you win.  Get’em.

Signature coming soon...

I'm not sure what time zone their system is based on but dang you even waited till 2:30 am I assume that's Central Time? So that would have been 12:30 am Pacific time and on the 3rd.

While going through my immigration papers, I noticed that I filed my ROC a little over 90 days before. But I guess with the mail it arrived within the 90 day window and made me eligible.

I guess applying online has the disadvantage that the application gets there as soon as you submit it.

Please keep us updated on how everything goes.

Yes, 2:30am Central. I intentionally waited until it was the 3rd everywhere in the continental US. Fat lot of good that did.

Sorry for the mess, hopefully you can get it resolved in your favor.

I wonder though if their systems use the Anywhere on Earth (AoE) Time Zone for determining the day.  If so, 2:30 am Dallas time is 8:30 pm the previous day in the AoE time zone.  This might explain the date difference.  It also could be that Hawaii and Alaska were also still in the previous day.

Good Luck!
