This is by far the least logical journey I've ever embarked on. I mean, it's absurd to keep people in the dark for months at a time, when it all just seems to be dumb luck as to who gets worked on.  I'm literally just waiting to roll my eyes at whatever they're asking for in our RFE, but whatever.

Try not to let the process get to you too much, it's probably safe to assume you're through the hump of waiting and it's downhill from here. :)

Yes, seems like the RFEs can be a bit of a “nuisance” but there is a light at the end of your tunnel! I had better be on the downhill part of this process by now otherwise I’m really going to lose it, haha!

I mean, objectively speaking, it’s ridiculous to get an RFE after 8 months, but whatever. My fiancé can’t come until the end of April at the earliest anyway (finishing a degree program), so at least there’s some comfort in that. Although apparently people are having issues getting interviews in Ankara at all, so fun times ahead I’m sure.

Yes, I mean come on! 8 months to figure it out? 😑 At least you’re not in a mad rush, that helps

I thought this was the week to close out June. Now I am not so confident about next week.

I wonder what the cause is? It is abnormal to have a few held behind, what is it with those cases?

We’ve seen this happen with May...and I don’t think any of those last few really know the why behind it either! It would be so much easier to wait if we knew what the hold up is

I think putting together massive packets may have something to do with at least a few of them. Not saying it applies to all but I think a few of the May ones admitted to having put together mountains of 'proof'

Hey All, I don't want to complain because I know so many are still waiting on NOA 2! But the NVC received our case two weeks ago and they haven't assigned a case number yet, most people seem to be getting this in a few days. Has anyone else been getting delays at the NVC?

It´s the same with us. NVC received it at Jan26th and still no case number. Marc called again yesterday. A very nice Lady said it´s normal and nothing to worry about. She said USCIS sent tons of cases and it can take a while if your case is on the bottom of one of these boxes and they still have to get used to their new electronic system.
