First of all I understand how you feel...but I must point out that as far as she is not a citizen or a legal resident of the USA ,a visa is not a right. Most times after they review cases they have already made up their mind and highlighted areas and questions to ask to justify denial those are the VO with conscience...But others will just go straight ahead and deny the visa without questions. 
 
Its true the DS 160 is filled with questions that might sound irrelevant, but they are control questions that is fashioned to work against you later....If you read them properly you see the are guarded questions dictating terms of your visa .
 
How long you allowed to stay is determined at the POE. However short visits are logical as against longer visits ....if you are working you cannot take 6 months leave and spend it in another country while paying bills in your country of origin. If you are self employed you face even harder scrutiny ....If your work is internet based or something you can do from anywhere they get concerned if you will work in the USA.
 
You have a fiancé/fiancée or a spouse....they they will ask you if you plan to stay or get married to trap you with the substantial misinformation fraud. 
 
Either why you look at it US visa is a privilege not a right.
 

Hi everyone, I think I saw this asked before quite long ago but after searching for a while I wasn't able to find the answers I need, so I need to ask you a few things. 
Early this year with my then fiancée we filled out the I-129f packet and send it to USCIS and got the NOA1 around March. After the COVID outbreak happened, we fought hard to be able to reunite after months of being apart, and I was able to enter the States not long ago. It started just as a visit to be together and I had tickets to come back to Spain, but close to the date of my flight, it got cancelled, and I tried to get new ones but the same thing happened twice after. After all that we decided to abandon the K1 and just get married and adjust, and that's where we're at right now. 
Thing is, we just got the NOA2 for the I-129f, and with it, my Alien Number, so it pop up a few questions I cannot find answers.
Should I use that Alien Number for the forms we're filling right now(I-485, I-944, etc.), and also attatch the NOA2 on the AOS packet? Or as we abandoned that we should just ignore that?

I just got back to the USA today from a visit to my fiancé in Germany, if anyone has any questions of how this process worked feel free to PM. We also previously did a 14 day quarantine in Mexico to get her into the USA back in August.

I agree with @Sparkle Sparkle 100%. Take your chances worst case scenario is AP if interview is successful.  And you more than enough time to get the certificate and send it to the embassy and your visa will be issued. Because with the current presidential proclamation about visas and limited consular operations you don’t want to waste any time for the small windows of opportunity available. 

Thanks! we decided that he attends the interview and while we continue with trying to get the police clearance. it is difficult as requirements have changed and they are asking for a consular card from the Mexican consular.

Wollte mich auch mal wieder melden. Ich war gerade zwei Wochen (alleine) auf Deutschland-Besuch und bin seit Montag wieder in Houston. Habe das fuer meine sanity gebraucht  bin mit der Combo Card eingereist, da ich noch keine GC habe, und das hat wunderbar geklappt. Da aber immer noch der Einreisestopp fuer Europa herrscht, wurden alle ohne amerikanischen Pass oder GC nach dem Fingerabdruecke geben escorted. In einem separaten Bereich habe ich dann mein marriage certificate und birth certificate von meinem Mann vorgelegt, um zu beweisen, dass ich trotz deutschem Pass und Direktflug von Frankfurt nach Houston als Ehefrau von einem USC derzeit einreisen darf, und dann war alles gut. Flieger und Flughaefen waren jedes Mal total leer. Von 30 Plaetzen in der Business waren auf dem Hinflug 11 Plaetze belegt und auf dem Rueckflug 13. Genug Platz also fuer Social Distancing  bin mit einem Koffer hingeflogen und mit 2 zurueck gekommen. Tee, Lebkuchen, dm Grosseinkauf und anderer Kram haben dann doch die Ueberhand genommen  Habe mich vor Abflug in Houston und zweimal bei Centogene am Frankfurter Flughafen testen lassen, alles zum Glueck negativ. 
 
Jobmaessig laeuft es bei mir auch. Habe im Juli als Freelancer bzw. selbststaendige Beraterin in der gleichen Firma wie mein Mann angefangen (kleines Unternehmen in der Chemiebranche mit ca. 50 Mitarbeitern). Nach 6 Wochen wurde ich ihnen zu teuer und sie haben mir ein full time job offer gemacht. Arbeite jetzt seit 7 Wochen und bin verantwortlich fuer Projekte, Prozessverbesserungen, und Unternehmensentwicklung, also sehr spannend! 
 
Mit meinem Mann bin ich auch mehr als zufrieden  die transition von Fernbeziehung, durch die Quarantaene durch und jetzt als Kollegen haben wir sehr gut hinbekommen, kann mich echt nicht beklagen. Den gebe ich nicht mehr her! Unser naechstes Projekt wird der Hausbau. Suchen gerade ein lot, lesen zig architectural restrictions der gehassten HOAs, und malen fleissig Grundrisse!

Das einzige, was aktuell noch fehlt, ist meine Greencard... AOS haben wir im Januar eingereicht und seit 233 Tagen ist mein case ready to be scheduled for an interview... Ich uebe mich in Geduld und hoffe, dass sich bis zum Fruehjahr etwas tut. Mitte April laeuft meine EAD aus.

That sounds great. She had all the paper work and Covid test but she was only asked the Covid test at the airport. We were anxious but to my surprise everything went really well.

As far as you were not married she was your live in girlfriend at most fiancée so no issues here....as stated above be forthcoming about it include a letter describing the relationship if you think its necessary and include proof of relationship....I understand the reason you want to bring this to light is to prove that you both have been in a relationship for a long time to help here immigration case.

Oh great! I mean we don't mind telling the truth that the form wasn't complete if it does come up at interview. Thank you!
