How would you know if someone is married in a different country? I was recently the victim of a second marriage. He had a wife in South Africa and married me in Ghana. If she hadn’t contacted me I would never have found out. How do you protect yourself from theses types of things? I hope I’m asking this question in the right form. Thank you

Their is really no way of finding out especially in some countries in Africa where records are not kept... If you make your mind to marry someone then you must gave examined him or her properly... Met with family. Think of it this way can I lay next to this person vulnerable in sleep and know that I will be safe?... Food for thought.

NB: In love there is no guarantee.

No way of knowing, all you can do is due dliigence.
