Mr Genuis got a reaction from Redro in Revoke Green card Sponsorship?
She still has not gotten an answer to her question. The best person to help her for this sotuation is an immigration lawyer. No one in this forum has given an answer yet meaning they have not expirence this. so I thought it wise to Ask a lawyer for an advise.

So I just checked my i751 case online it is ready to be scheduled for interview. I filed February 8 2021. I received noticed for biometrics in August . Had my biometrics taken on August 24th 2021. And interview ready to be scheduled as of 11/24/2021. ( MSC). I was praying for my interview to be waived but I see I must go for interview. I seriously don't like interviews and I am very nervous.

Look for a stand by lawyer. Your and your husband need to quickly get a job. Your combine income should be like 45 000 or 50000.

As a CR1, you didn’t get an AOS interview. That’s why you’re having an interview now.
Nothing to be nervous about if your relationship is bona fide. Just make sure you review the most common questions and go over them with your partner. It might help you feel better!

You have to notify USCIS when you move.
your case will be transferred accordingly.
Whether you choose to do it or not and deal with the consequences of your actions is entirely up to you.

Mr Genuis got a reaction from Greencard-22 in I-751 October 2021 Filers
Having kids alone is not enough evidence to support your claim for bona-fide marriage. How ever it is one of the solid evidence you can include. Technically, USCIS want to see your marital Journey since you had your two years green card. So kids are a result of that marital union. The reason a two year green card is given is because you had no long history of togetherness at the time of issue, the two years green card is a period of time the uscis is given you guys to record or document your marital journey. That is why they uscis is request you to update them with you marriage two years later. Basically the one to see your story. So your documents should have a life span of 2 years together. Normal couples will have joint account, lease or house tittle together, it possible to have kids within two years, travels, pictures ,friends who can provide affidavit declaring they know you guys and see your love life, etc..

Mr Genuis got a reaction from Cuong & Nguyen in I864ez
Hello Fam. Please i need an urgent respond to this. I am filling out the Affidavit of support form. But i reach to part 5 employment and annual income. Fill up income for 3 most rent years. The truth is. The income for 2016 and 2017 are very low. So i have a joint sponsor. Question! Is it ok to fill up just 2018 income here and ignore the other 2 years on the form?

Mr Genuis reacted to Ben&Zian in Where do you live when you arrive?
Sounds like, as @TBoneTX had said, you needed to really do a lot of research to know what you were getting yourself into.
While my husband had been to the US before on two J-1 visas, he still knew it would be a huge transition to live here full time.
Cali is one of the most expensive places, least in like L.A. and surrounding areas, so naturally what you can there for say $3000 a month, in Houston it would be half that price.
And come on, really? You didn't expect it to be "cold"? I know my husband thinks cold is 50 degrees but of course there are areas where it get's really cold, negative 20+ in some areas even.
You really needed to do some research. And no one is "putting you down", and saying places don't rent to immigrants is ridiculous. If you can afford it, most places I've ever been to will gladly rent to you.
Some have criteria, like you stated, rental history; but of course you start off with none so that doesn't automatically deny you eligibility. Most have financial requirements of 3-4x the amount of rent in monthly income. So you have to make $4k a month to rent a $1k a month apartment. That's just common sense , the apartment complex and management company want to know you can pay rent without issue.
Research ahead of time is key. And you could have done it from abroad also. Contacted people, asked questions, ect.

When you apply for a visa its very important you researched everything there is to know before you apply. Luckily there are very good guides on this forum, see https://www.visajourney.com/cr1-ir1-spousal-visa/. There is also tons of information on the USCIS website, https://www.uscis.gov/i-130. Read all the info first, then start filling out the forms and gathering the evidence. The guides on both websites will take you through this process step by step. When you get stuck while doing this, there's tons of people to help you here

Mr Genuis reacted to Just Paul in I 130 Approval
Mr Genius did a DCF filing. Those move much faster than a regular I-130 as they are not processed stateside. They skip the NVC stage entirely and don't pay an AOS fee. Ours took 102 days. The DCF does present a challenge in the I-864 as the income has to be US based. Many have a co sponsor or go thru based on assets.

Mr Genuis got a reaction from John & Rose in I130 denied for not joining a copy of I130 A for my spouse who is overseas
You did not do your research before filling. So yes you can file again this time correct and add what was missing. Go to www.uscis.gov webit you will see all what you need to put together. Then file again.

Mr Genuis reacted to geowrian in Do you think they will shut down the USEM for visa interviews
Uhh...what?
USCIS is under DHS.
The embassies and consulates are under DOS.
These are separate departments with separate policies, separate budgets, separate leadership, separate goals, etc.
USCIS has an allocated bucket for processing petitions and applications. These fee-based services are self-sustaining without any appropriations from the federal government. They should not be impacted.
DOS is a very different beast. The embassies and consulates are not all self-sustaining. They collect fees and draw upon that fund, but it's not the same everywhere.
For instance, the K-1 visa has a flat MRV fee of $265. This is the same whether you interview in Montreal or Lagos. The costs associated with processing an average visa application are likely miles apart. there's no way they're paying the same wages for all the staff, the level and occurrence of manual background checks and document verification required are different, etc.
