Police certificate in South Korea

Hello Everyone, I am currently facing a challange here providing this document. I have every other documents ready for my interview except the correct police certicate. If you are in South Korea you will understand better. The korea police Agencies issue a police certificat without laps check. The consulate/embassy requested for a laps check. I have gone to 4 different agencies they all gave me same police certificate which is the wrong one. When i explained to them... each agency told me is illegal to get what am asking for to use for the visa purpose. And said what they give me is what the embassy should ask for. I am troubled. Any one recently mad a police certicate/clearance in south korea?

You can get it from any police station if you can explain in Korean.

I got once from nearest station.

You have to say "실효된 형 등 포함"

Yeah. Not every police station issue it. I know how to explain it in korea. But they told they dont issue it no more. Iwas advice to go to a police station closer to the embassy. So i did and i got it the same day. So am good now. Thanks

Thank you, great piece of information for me also.

I got that more than 1 year ago but wasn't required at that time.

I will also need a police certificate at the end of this month and the information will help me a lot.

Recently my I-140 has been approved and waiting for case no from NVC.

Seems you have processed from Korea as a foreigner, so your experience will be great help for me.

Can you please share what civil docs I have to prepare from Korea?

How I have to upload to NVC? Online?

Any other experience will be much helpful.

Thanks in advance.
