What Powerpuff said.

Why are you so gatekeep-y about this thread lmao. There's plenty straight AOS peeps (including myself) lurking and occasionally posting in both. Way to alienate someone who was just asking a question.

There's several forums because the process is different. Mods/organizers recognized this and made them for a reason.

It was a suggestion to ask the question in the forum that was made specifically tied to the visa you're adjusting from.

Go bro on another forum, then. This is serious and people have had to delay the process by months because of one silly, misinformed mistake. Mods spend hours a day here just to make sure threads are in the right place.

On another note, we had our social security appointment today (for our daughter who couldn't get one right away). This was our last step until I-751. 🥲

Guys, I am having my interview in a few days and I am a little confused about the way some of the information stated in the interview letter/mail about our documents. It asks to bring signed I-864 and supporting evidence "(unless already submitted)". We already submitted the form and its evidence in the initial package, that means we don't have to redo the form and bring in new evidence?

And about bonafide marriage evidence, do we need bring in copies of the evidence we submitted AND new evidences?

I don't think you'd have to bring things you already submitted to the interview, but I know I've seen folks say that USCIS didn't have the submitted x, so they asked for it at the interview.

Personally, I'd feel comfortable with bringing a complete copy of everything submitted (+ the RFE docs/if applicable) and whatever you can scrape together for the evidence.

Thanks for the info!! Thank goodness... I saved everything I submitted. I guess I'm gonna need to make a trip to buy a new toner and some more papers.

I also got a message with the same language, but didn't bring anything I had already submitted. It's similar to the I-693 Def Notice: scares the ####### out of you, but it's mostly advisory.

Hello Everyone!!!
just an update on my end, received my GC today in the mailbox 🥳🥳🥳

I’m a 🇺🇸 permanent resident now  😊

please find below my timeline:

RFE received on Sept-16 by USCIS

GC Interview scheduled letter: Dec 15 2021

GC Interview Date: Jan 20 2022 (F.O - San Bernardino, CA )

Approval Date: Jan 21 2022

GC produced-Jan 26 2022

GC in hand - Jan 29 2022

I would recommend to download the case tracker mobile App- It was very helpful and gave updates for each step from the GC production to USPS tracking as well.

Good luck to everyone waiting for their interview dates and other waiting for the GC arrival!

With my level of anxiety, I think I'm going to bring everything so that I come in in peace.

Just a general question, this might sound silly though 🤦🏼‍♂️
After you get your GC, do we still get the EAD and Combo card as well at later stage??
only reason asking is that I still see my case for EAD and AP on the case tracker App and still get the estimated approval dates from VJ every Sunday.
just curious about it ….
TIA

No. USCIS will cancel the EAD and AP applications. May or may not appear cancelled on your case tracker
