There have been many issues with the spreadsheet. Right now, it seems to be working, somewhat. There is a lot of info missing from the September filers' page. A couple of us have tried to restore it, but it's just not working. I created a new spreadsheet, and everything is in it. I started a new topic about it to alert everyone to it, but I don't think many have seen it. I hope this doesn't cause confusion. Here is the link to the new one:

Updated finally - date for the notice is 10/6  - received on 10/15 through snail mail - Bio-metrics is needed. 11/01/2021.
Last time this happened - pretty soon after biometrics we had our interview.

Yes, and it's move quickly, so far! We sent it on September 22 and got the text on the 24th, NOA with the extension arrived on the 28th, and the biometrics waiver came on October 5!  How are you doing?

I’m a CA filer and got my 18 months extension letter in August. Yesterday I received a letter from USCIS. I was thinking it’s something about biometrics, however they sent me 24 months extension letter.

My guess is from where they got approved to extend out to 24 months instead of 18 months and probably just updating peoples documents, or maybe the person/people handling yalls cases are doing a courtesy update. That is just my guess though because people should be getting the 24 month extension letter now instead of the 18 month which I believe got approval just within weeks of all of us mailing off our ROC Documents. My wife hasn't gotten the 24mo but if she did then I would assume they were just updating is all. Probably won't have any affect otherwise I would assume.

They extended it from 18 to 24 months in September, and everyone whose case is still pending will get an updated receipt notice with that extension.

EDIT: I forgot to quote @Ane21  I'm adding this, so they will see my reply.

I'm a bit loss. The acronyms LIN and SRC mean?

LIN (Lincoln) - NebraskaService Center. SRC - Texas Service Center.

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

That's about the only encouraging bit about YSC, but I'm very glad to hear it.   Looked up all the service centers and jealously looking at the SRC and CSC people, where it's showing 6-9 months.  Potomac....20-23.5 months.  LOL !!   Yeah, of course we got the dreaded YSC.

Hoping the citizenship process is independent of the ROCs, as we're waiting for that to ease travel.
