Checking my email and text every 30 mins for case# 😓. I can't stop worrying whether I put in the wrong address for USCIS on the mail, should have taken a picture.

Received my NOA in the mail today :) super happy about that... assigned to Potomac which literally has the LONGEST processing time 🙈 according to USCIS website 20-22 months... how does that "be patient" thing work again?! lmao

And also please someone educate me on how to change "Filed for:" to ROC?! Mine keeps saying K1...

Depends on how you see it. LIN is Nebraska. However, the time frame listed on USCIS doesn't match up with that public Google Sheet. As I last saw it, LIN's from September 2020 to December 2020 have been approved, etc.

You may find this helpful. It's an article about  USCIS' processing of forms. I'll include the link, but it's this paragraph that's relevant to this conversation and, I think, useful for all of us: "For example, the speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination."

Ok how did you change to lifting conditions mine is stuck on k1 too 

Late 2016: Met playing Clash of Kings the West

Feb 2017: Started online "dating"

May 2017: Met in Orlando

July 2017: Arkansas and Seminole (1 night) visit

October 2017: Washington DC visit.

December 2017: Seminole OKC home visit and Amanda  met Chayne's kids and dad.

January 2018:  York England visit Chayne met Amanda's son.

April 2018: London/Paris/York visit we got engaged on April 6th!!

April 19th 2018: packet sent

April 23rd 2018: USPS say packet signed for.

April 25th 2018: Electronic NOA1 received 

April 26th 2018: Cheque Cashed

April 30th 2018: hard copy NOA1 received

June 2018: Seminole visit, Amanda met Chayne's  adult son

So looks like they finally entered my wife's application into the system on Friday.  The receipt number is working now and it shows "submitted on" date of 9/3.  The description does have the correct date of 8/13 for being received.  Now, if they will just send the extension letter :)

Missing documents, blank fields, unchecked boxes, etc., are reasons to get an RFE.

 

So you will very likely receive an RFE.

Regarding your notice, it might be on the way to your home already. 2 to 4 weeks is within the normal waiting time.

Do you know how soon they are returned? Is a case number generated even if the package is returned? Still waiting on getting a text/email notification

Check April 2021 filers: someone on that thread got their package returned and from what I recall, it took some weeks. 

 

If the package is returned no case number is assigned, and you can correct the mistake and send the same package. 

 

A few months ago, it would take 6 weeks for people to receive a text message, now it seems the average is 1-2 weeks.

I just got my package back. It says "Signature of person preparing the form, if other than above" block is not a valid signature. I left it blank while printing and wrote N/A along with on all the other blank fields. Should I have left it blank?

We've done so on every form: all fields blank.
