  1. They forward the medical to the embassy in Manila. Lowers the risk of shenanigans. 😉 The sealed envelope may or may not come after visa approval. Depending on if your one of the lucky ones that gets a digital record.
  2. My wife just received her 10 year Green Card March 15. We filed in Sept. 2021. Comparing her cases with others this seems to be the new normal. Maybe you will get lucky but expect a longer wait. File for your N-400 if you are eligible. It might push the process along.
  3. My wife had to sign one as a permanent resident when she opened an account in Philippines on a return trip there. It is fine.
  4. Green Card received yesterday. I could see it online in USPS informed delivery. They are shipping them with tracking numbers now. I was waiting for the mailman at the front door. He said he didn't have it but he would keep an eye out for it. It magically appeared when he got back to his mail truck. I will be so glad when I don't have to rely on USPS to deliver important mail anymore.
  5. March 5, 2024 Case Was Approved On March 5, 2024, we approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. Good Lord))). That's a surprise. N-400 is also pending as of Jan 2. At least it won't bea combo interview.
  6. Refused is a quirk in the system. Approved visas show as refused for a few days until it turns to issued. A site search will show many posts here on VJ about this issue.
  7. My wife started as an AU on some of my cards while waiting for AOS. She now has 3 cards of her own and I am an AU on one of her cards. She chuckles at that. She now has a 750+ credit score after only 2 years of having her own cards.
  8. The I-134 does not have to be a we signature for the Manila embassy. Fill it out, scan it and email it to your fiance to print out for the interview.
  9. You have to have to file a waiver if you don't wait two years. It is part of the instructions for the 129F. That is where I pulled my quote in my post above. Page 7 paragraph 4 https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-129finstr.pdf
  10. Bingo...I sorta miss the old days. A new story every week. Covid and processing delays have slowed down multiple filers a lot. After two you have to file a waiver: 1. You are filing this petition on behalf of your fiancé(e) and you previously filed Form I-129Fs on behalf of two or more fiancé(e) beneficiaries; or 2. You are filing this petition on behalf of your fiancé(e), you have previously had a Form I-129F approved, and less than two years have passed since the filing date of your previously approved petition
  11. I just sent bank records showing joint accounts. Joint CD records. Beneficiary info to my TSP (401K) account. Documentation showing that she is an Authorized User on my credit cards. The online application walks you through submitting most required documents.
  12. 20 minutes later received NOA and Bio reuse. That's a good sign 😉
  13. Didn't see a thread so started one. The boss submitted her N-400 today. She is ambivalent about citizenship but we got tired for the the I-751 to be processed (Sep 2021). The US passport will make it easier to travel to some places we want to visit anyway. Good luck to all.
  14. Sept. 21. Case at SRC. Finally broke down and sent N-400 today. Wife isn't amped about becoming a citizen but you do what you have to do to move things along. At least with the US passport we can more easily visit some of the countries on our wish list.
  15. Hello fellow 09/21er) Thanks and congrats. The boss couldn't hold out anymore.
  16. Hello my fellow 751 sufferers....My wife has a 751 pending since 09-15-2021. She was ambivalent about applying for citizenship. She is finally taking the N-400 plunge. For those of you that submitted the N-400 online how did you let USCIS know that there is a 751 pending so it can be pulled and routed with the N-400? Thanks as always...B.
  17. My wife travelled with the extension letter in June. When we went through US immigration the system had been updated to show a 10 year expiration date though we have still not received a card or a notice of approval. Your wife may find the same when she travels back. USCIS is fubar...
  18. My wife traveled by herself last year as a green card holder. No issues. You will be fine.
  19. No Updates...Though biometrics were reused early on. September 15, 2021 Case Was Received
  20. My wife applied for removal of conditions in September of 2021. She received the 4 year extension letter in Aprilish. We just returned from a 5 week trip to the Philippines. While going through immigration the kind immigration officer informed us that the expiration date of her GC had already been updated to 10 years in the system and we should be receiving the card soon. I have informed delivery and nothing from USCIS was sent while we were gone and my neighbor picked up our mail--nada. I guess we will see if our "inside info" is correct or not about receiving the 10 year GC soon.

  22. When Adventine speaks on these issues my ears tend to perk up. You are in for a very bumpy ride if you go through with this wedding. Good luck on whatever you decide.
