I am in Florida. Her visa is K1 and my K2, we sent the documents to USCIS on November 28, 2019. The check was canceled in January 2020. My case was still being processed, I took the fingerprints, and then they canceled my case. Now his status is "Petition / Application Was Rejected For Insufficient Funds", they sent me the documents back and three notice of action, about travel authorization, work authorization and the greencard.
When the case started I was under 21, now I am 21. What I want to know is if I can resend the documents for the same case with a new check.

Oh....OK.  Forget what I said.  I thought you were outside the US.  Yes, you can resend the package.......you are filing for Adjustment of Status.

You are talking about your case and the fingerprints. What case? USCIS case or embassy? Where did you go for fingerprints? Are you already in the US under K2 and now seeking GC or you are still in brazil seeking K2?

Nice catch!!!!!!!

Thankyou. Your situation is now much clearer.  Your post was moved to Adjustment of status from K1/2 as this is the process you are now undertaking. The answers will now be easier to give correctly.
I believe you are able to resubmit all documents with a valid payment method as it appears you met the conditions of entering as K 2 and adjusting

Since you have already entered US on K2 visa before 21st bday, you turning 21 is irrelevant. As said, you can refile for AOS.

That's good to hear.

When i send the package with a new check, i will send to get there in one day.

How long do you think it will take before they accept and cash the check? Also, will my EAD / AP combo arrive at the same time as my mother's?

I believe you're gonna have to redo all the forms since they were updated on Feb 24. And include the new I-944. Also remember to send a copy of your mom's NOA1 for her AOS.

I already did all the forms again, i'm wondering how low they will take to cash the check, and if i will receive the EAD/AP in the same time as my mother's.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I doubt you will receive at the same time. Her Application is in the line since November. For you it's like applying for a new one, so end of the line. She is probably getting her EAD and AP anytime soon.
