About to hit 200 days. Basically at this point I'm just counting down to my N400 filing in January of next year.

I know.  It is so sad.  What is the point of saying after X days you can submit an inquiry and then when you can, it extends it even more?  Again, USCIS is just a joke. LOL

Good luck to all of us.  For those of you applying to citizenship soon, at least you know it will be over sooner rather than later.  Best of luck and keep us posted!

 

For those that are choosing not to file for N400, whether it is because of limitations now such as a language barrier or because it is a personal choice, please note there is the option of WOM to get your 751 processed sooner.
 

 

The ones that have a language barrier, there is this resource where you can find centers near you that will help with both English and the citizenship interview/testing preparation:

And, of course, you can always just not do either if that is your personal preference and just wait.  But, I just want people to know their options.

Applied around the same time as you, also still waiting. Sent off my N-400 application 3 months ago and my I-751 application was moved to the NBC a month later. Hasn't been any change since then, though.

Filed back in May 2021, and still waiting. And the inquiry date will be in 2024 Jan sometime. This is so slow.

Posted in the monthly thread already, but filed for my husband in Jan 2021 and he just got his GC in the mail a few days ago. Case approved Jul 14th. So grateful to be out of waiting in YSC hell. On the plus side, I didn't realize the new GC would expire 10 years from issuance, so it doesn't expire until 2033 which is nice.

Congrats... did your status change online?  Or were you surprised with a green card in the mail?  We filed Feb 2021 so I am hopeful.

Congrats ! I’m feb 2021 filer and just reached my 29 months mark. Hopefully they’ll get to my case soon ! No interview I assume ?

Due to Tax reasons I might not apply for the N400 (Properties in Europe). I still have to wait and see how the exact tax code is for property outside the US

I thought Green Card holders are subject to the same US tax code as US citizens.  I know that world-wide income is treated exactly the same.
