  1. We were never explicitly told to bring my spouse with me for my interview, but she came along anyway as we knew there was a high probability of a combo interview. Now, my wife was never called in on the day and my I-751 and N-400 were approved on the day, but the interviewer did mention that it was a good thing that my spouse was with me all the same, just in case any issue arose. She should 100% go with you to avoid any delays int he future.
  2. If you're eligible to apply now, I say go for it. I got tired of waiting around after being stuck at "fingerprints received" for 2 years and submitted my N-400 last April. Had my interview at the beginning of November with my I-751 still pending. Didn't even call my spouse into the interview, just did the normal N-400 interview and approved my I-751 then and there. I believe people who filed their I-751 at the same time as me without applying for the N-400 are just beginning to see approvals come in now, so it definitely helped. But the main reason for doing it was so I wouldn't have to deal with USCIS ever again.
  3. I had what was supposed to be my combo interview last Tuesday. Brought my wife along with me because I assumed she would be required to come in too. When my name was called to go in for the interview, the agent told me that it wouldn’t be necessary for my wife to come in too. She briefly went over my I-751 application for a couple of minutes and that was it. At the end she thanked me for bringing my wife with me just in case anything did come up when going through the I-751 though.
  4. Update on this: Oath Ceremont scheduled for the 29th! Can’t believe how quickly things have gone today!
  5. Had my interview today at the Baltimore FO. Brought my wife along because we were told it would be a Combo interview for the I-751 too, but the agent informed me that she didn’t need to come in at all, so that was a surprise! interview lasted about 15 minutes, civics questions were fine, as were the English portion of the test and the Yes/No questions. She quickly went through my I-751 application with me and that was it then. At the end she told me that a decision couldn’t be made right there due to the I-751 application, but I expected that. What I didn’t expect was to see an update on my USCIS account once I got home a couple of hours later stating that my application had been recommended for approval and that my Oath Ceremony will be scheduled! Quite a relief! So, now I just have to wait for that to be scheduled and I’ll finally be done with the USCIS for good!
  6. Finally got my interview notice for the N-400 last week, scheduled for the first week of November. So, I'm certainly thankful to be close to the end of this! My I-751 was also sent off over 30 months ago now.
  7. FINALLY got the interview notice for November 7th today after 5 months of waiting. So, so, so happy to nearly be at the end of this!
  8. Damn, seeing everyone already done with their oath makes me loathe the Baltimore FO even more. 123 days since sending in the application and no word yet!
  9. And even after this scheduled maintenance, my I-751 status is still blank! I've officially crossed 29 months now, chatting with a live agent has only yielded them telling me the service center my application is at, and there doesn't seem to be any movement on either of my applications. Just an incredibly frustrating process. EDIT: Just saw that processing times for YSC have now gone up to 30 months. This gets funnier with every passing day.
  10. Coming up as normal there. I'm just confused as to why my USCIS account is suddenly blank for it, but my N-400 application is still showing all the information.
  11. Anyone else here getting a blank status in MyUSCIS when they go to check their I-751 status? My N-400 status is appearing perfectly, but all the info about my I-751, aside from the receipt number, has disappeared. Likely just a glitch, but, after exactly 29 months, I can't help but get my hopes up just a little bit.
  12. Just chiming in here 4 months after submitting my N-400. 6 weeks after filing, my I-751 was moved to a different office (NBC) for "faster" processing. My I-751 was submitted in March 2021, unfortunately to the Potomac Service Center. Now, my I-751, if still at Potomac, should have been approved this month, and I am noticing that a lot of March 2021 applications are currently getting approved. Mine is still stuck at "transferred to another office". Average wait time to be scheduled for an interview at my local field office, going by what I'm seeing, is around 8 or so months. So, at this point, I feel like I'll likely be waiting another 4 or so months for literally anything else to happen. It's incredibly frustrating. The advice I'd give to people here is to apply for N-400 as soon as you are able to, and not closer to when your I-751 priority date becomes current. Filing as soon as eligible will likely make things go faster than if you had not submitted the N-400, but, in my case, it seems like it has definitely slowed everything down when it comes to the I-751.
  13. Hell, I'd take an RFE at this point. Just to know that someone is actually looking at the case! By all accounts, March 21 YSC filers should be hearing something at the moment, but I'm yet to hear of any March filers who have been approved. I fear the inevitable might happen and come next month, the processing times might tick up an extra month!
  14. You'd think they'd be able to bring in more staff to work on cases with all that money rolling in, but apparently not. Just very confused as to how they're adjudicating these cases now. I had heard that some 2023 cases were being approved within weeks recently. So, it very much seems like they're trying to get some newer cases done so they can bring the average processing time down. Just frustrating when people have been waiting 2 and a half years at this point with no word! What's even more frustrating is that, with every *increase* to the processing time, it pushes back the date when I can contact them about the case itself!
  15. Yeah, hoping we get news in the next few weeks. Though casestatusext is showing that they were approving cases from 2022 all through last week! Whenever I think I have this process figured out, I see something new that just confuses me further!
