  1. Thank youuuu ❤️ It looks like they're working on a lot of cases lately so hopefully you'll get yours sooner than expected!
  2. Nothing for me yet- I've seen quite a few around my number- some before, some after. Starting to think I'm at the bottom of the pile 🤣 Maybe next week!
  3. Also a March 2021 filer here! Hoping for news soon myself, and this brings me some hope; thanks for sharing ❤️
  4. I'm hoping they speed up and you can get yours within a few months too, all this waiting is ridiculous
  5. Do it now and on the I-751 packet. We forgot to do the I-865 for my husband when we moved prior to the I-751, I think it's easy to forget about it. We weren't penalised for it being late at all, but it's better to have a record of you submitting one just in case questions are raised later.
  6. How it feels when uscis increase the processing times for Ysc by a month, every month
  7. It's not a stupid question at all, it's very easy to second guess when it comes to Uscis. That said, that definitely sounds like an approval to me! They'll probably send you a tracking number within the next few days - congratulations!
  8. Congratulations!! It's nice to see some movement- good luck with the citizenship when your husband gets to it. 🧡
  9. Thank you! I was worried I was asking a stupid question, but now I'm glad I asked because I didn't know that ssn and driver's license would help 🤣 I'm actually pretty sure my social security card is already unrestricted because they sent it to me once my Adjustment of status was approved four years ago, and I don't recall there being anything about dhs authorisation on there (I will check though; just need my husband to open the safe.)
  10. Never thought I would be making one of these! But this is one side of things I haven't really looked into. Just received advanced notice from my boss (off the record) that the people above him are thinking of making me redundant! Yay! (Apparently taking the initiative and asking for more work to do was the wrong move; even though everyone else is overworked they're taking the opportunity to let me go - stellar logic right there.) Gripes aside...I actually have no idea where this leaves me. Redundancy might not be for a few weeks, no one has officially spoken to me so I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row and figure out as much as I can in advance. And hope maybe I'll get lucky and Potomac will get a move on and approve me before I need to really worry about any of it. Which leads me to the question; what should I expect while trying to get a new job with an expired green card? I feel like the answer should be pretty straight forward - that with an expired green card and a valid extension letter everything should be pretty smooth sailing, but after getting bad news everything feels a bit intimidating so I suppose I'm looking for someone else to confirm that!
  11. A lawyer would know best, which is why I am suggesting you seek one out. They are really the only people who can answer your questions effectively. But my personal opinion (not to be taken as legal advice); I don't think it is a waste of time to file correctly; and from everything you have said, you are not in a relationship with your wife and have no intention of trying to resolve the issues in your marriage - therefore you no longer meet the requirement for a joint filing. Bear in mind there are serious consequences for being suspected of fraud- and the evidence doesn't just "go away" after approval.
  12. Do not count on this. Your case sounds complicated. Consider getting yourself a lawyer, a divorce, and amending your petition to a divorce filing - especially if it isn't likely that you will mend your relationship. That is better - in my opinion - than waiting until you have a 10 year greencard to divorce, as right now, there are a lot of red flags that could be interpreted as fraud.
  13. Wonderful. Amazing. Fantastic work as usual from uscis. I do genuinely think at this point that they might have just one person working through all the cases which is why it's taking so long. It is most certainly an automatic update to processing times based on where the bulk of the applications are. I would imagine you should see some movement within the next few months; it seems to be taking two or three months to get through one (i.e. last I saw it was Jan 2021, they're probably still finishing up that month aside from a handful of approvals from later months). so maybe you will see yours in september/October?
  14. There have been a few people who have posted on VJ about getting RFEs for new/more information because it has taken so long, which is in my opinion ridiculous if you provided enough evidence at the time. I'm breaking into the 900+ mark next week, myself, kinda hoping I don't make it to 1000 but not holding my breath...
  15. what about if you put your receipt number in https://egov.uscis.gov/ ? I lost access to my account when I switched phones (and 2FA) but mine is coming up as normal on that page
  16. I applied March 2021- my inquiry date is end of October too so we're probably sat in the same box somewhere
  17. Yeah that looks about right to me. That or they think if they ignore the pile of paperwork, it'll go away on it's own...
  18. Congratulations!! All the hardest parts are done now; and at least you can take N-400 at your leisure!
