I am pretty much done with the DS-260 but not yet with collecting the 864 docs... Should I wait to submit them togheter?

That’s exactly it. They analyze the DS-260 and give you a list of items to upload under the civil documents. It’s my understanding that they won’t look at anything until both the civil docs and AOS docs have been submitted.

Once it’s submitted you’ll get the civil documents list

What you have to submit depends on the answers you put on the DS-260

Not sure if they pop up immediately though I’m afraid as I’m not at that stage yet

Our CR1/ IR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • September 14 2018: I-130 NOA1 (TSC)
  • March 19 2019: I-130 NOA2 (186 days)
  • April 26 2019: I-824 NOA1 (NBC) (Change from AOS to Consular - mistake on I-130 😭)
  • January 24 2020: I-824 NOA2 (273 days)
  • Feb 5 2020: Approved I-130 Sent to NVC (12 days after I-824 NOA2)

 

NVC Stage:

  • February 12 2020: Case Received @ NVC (7 days after being sent)
  • February 16 2020: Expedite Request Sent - Financial Hardship
  • March 7 2020: Case Number Created (23 days after NVC receipt)
  • March 7 2020: IV & AOS Fees Paid (Showed as PAID after 4 days)
  • March 13 2020: IV & AOS Docs Submitted
  • March 30 2020: Expedite Request Approved - Conditional (once Embassies resume normal services - COVID19)
  • May 04 2020: Documentarily Qualified
  • July 16 2020: Expedite Request Approved - Unconditional!! 
  • July 31 2020: Medical Done
  • August 6 2020: Interview - APPROVED!
  • August 13 2020: CEAC Status - Issued! 😁

Hey 👋🏻 did anyone had luck calling Nvc today ?

i called more than 60 time  and all i hear is due the large number of calls......?

Im sick of this cuz all documents has been accepted except the primary sponsor says submitted & all that because we forgot to put the date on the I 864 form 😑 first submitted nov21 second on December 23 

it’s unbelievable.

we at Nebraska toke us almost 13 month to get the Noa2 & this is making me even more frustrated than the uscis progress :(

I re submitted my documents on Jan 1st. and another one on Jan 16 for the other document I forgot to upload. 

 

From Jan 1st its been almost 7 weeks waiting and from Jan 16 its been 5 weeks waiting so usually which one they check? 

 

 

also where do we check for latest update on nvc website for the processing times since they removed the current one?

Is there a way to go online and check to see if your docs are in the process of being reviewed? or are people just sitting and waiting for an email from NVC?

Sit and wait. I don't think it takes them long to review the docs. Most of the time we spend waiting is our file just sitting in a queue.

I haven't heard anything back yet from NVC. I submitted all my documents on December 17th. Hope to hear from them this week (it's already 2 months now)! Anyone else that submitted the same week as me and heard back already?
