My appointment was at 7:00 am
I got there at 6:22am
No earphones allowed through the first gate
By 6:44am I was at the last security check where you switch off your phone
Proceed inside to get a ticket number
1st time ticket my number called I went to a window where I was asked questions
When did you marry
Where is your spouse
Have you been married before
Did you do your medical
Was your spouse married before
Was your spouse married in USA or did he go there
Ever committed a crime
Asked for original birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate of previous spouse, passport,
Biometrics taken
Then I was given a paper about fgm to go and read
Then told We will call you shortly for the interview
This took less than 10 minutes
After waiting I was called in for the interview I was told to affirm that the information I will give and I have given his true to my best of then questions

What are you doing for a living
Where did you meet your husband
have you lived in any other country or just Kenya
Then I was told that my visa has been approved

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
