It takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Your still within the window. Call next week maybe T/W for C#.

We received our case number as well. Very excited. Hopefully they'll miraculously have an earlier shipment date due to the upcoming holiday. Fingers crossed!

Guys I have a question: We sent our file with so many love proofs.... In my case were like 100 pages of it l, so much.... So they will ask more love proofs? Our file is not going to our countries so they can see it?... do I need to get again all the proofs since the beginning? Or is just from the time we sent our file to present? Heeeelp cause I'm making my new package 😃

only new evidence that after receiving the case

Peru is a friendly nation to the US and you do not need to prove your love with 100 pages of evidence. That's overkill.

This comes from one of the links I sent you. Follow it and that is all you need. This is one of the reasons that I tell folks that each embassy is different. If you do what everyone says they are doing, you may never have everything "you think you need" and when you get to the interview and it's 5 min long and they don't ask about 100 pages, then you are disappointed. Anywhoo. Here is what is contained in what is needed for the interview. No more and No Less

Pre-Interview Checklist

Please use the list below to determine the items that every applicant must bring to the immigrant visa interview. Any documents that are not in either English or Spanish must be accompanied by a certified English translation:

  • Your visa interview appointment letter.

  • Unexpired passport valid for six (6) months beyond your intended date of entry to the United States and a photocopy of the biographic page (where your name and photo are located).

  • Any old passport with a previously issued U.S. Visa in it (for example, a non-immigrant tourist or student visa).

  • Two (2) color passport-size photographs of each person applying for a visa (5 cm x 5 cm, or 2 inch x 2 inch).  Please review our online photo requirements.

  • Your Peruvian national identity card.

  • Confirmation page from the Form DS-160 Application for an (non)-Immigrant Visa you submitted online at ceac.state.gov/iv.
  • Your original birth certificate certified by RENIEC.

  • Original or certified copies of birth certificates for all children of the principal applicant (even if he or she is not accompanying).
  • Medical examination results in a sealed envelope (if the physician gives you these results).

Damn. I'm in Venezuela and I'm not taking that much to the interview or even put that much on the package. I made 5 pages with 3 photos for the petition package and am not planning taking too much to the interview either, since you can't take too many stuff to the embassy due to their security procedures. But each consulate works differently.
